MrsMagooo · 01/04/2009 10:34

Arti Re the BJCM it seems you can no longer purchase them online so you have to phone & purchase.I'd noticed they were disappearing off line & wondered why! The best price I've found it Precious Little One, £159.99 with free post & they have red, blue, green, orange & black.

Been debating about selling mine & getting black but think I'll just look out for black covers.

mamadiva · 01/04/2009 10:38

Ooh MrsM if you sell how much would you be looking for?

MrsMagooo · 01/04/2009 10:49

Sorry hun I'd be looking to make a profit to fud getting a black one. I don't think I'll be selling though, I'd loose so much through eBay fees so just not worth it plus I need it for DD at the weekend & I don't like to use prams if I'm selling them.

I'm just going to look out for black covers instead.

Sawyer64 · 01/04/2009 11:18

Well I have just bought a Maclaren Raincover on Ebay for £18(with p&p)for the Triumph.

Cost me more than the bloody buggy did!!
Grrr.

Teach me to assume that the "details" of the Buggy aren't always accurate, when Seller doesn't read them before Copy and pasting them from Mothercare!!

MrsMagooo · 01/04/2009 12:24

Oh Sawyer noooooo!! You could have got just a throwover raincover from UndercoverPVC for about £7.99, can you send it back & a cheaper one or did you want the official Mac one?

Sawyer64 · 01/04/2009 12:58

Well in the past with DS I have had framed ones etc. which were a real pita.

Was very impressed when I had my Maclaren Double, that things had evolved so much, that I had this tiny raincover that just clipped on the front.

Instead of a "Concertina-type" thingy, that used to get in the way of everything.

So there didn't seem to be any like that apart from the mac ones. There was Universal ones etc. for £2.99 plus p&p.But as the Triumph is quite narrow etc. didn't want excess raincover iyswim?

Just so cross at the seller,as I wouldn't have chosen that triumph,if I had known.

nicolamumof3 · 01/04/2009 13:12

have you emailed seller about it sawyer? i would?

Sawyer64 · 01/04/2009 14:34

I did Nicola.

Said she didn't read it through.

She says she "will be phoning Ebay" about me complaining.

She stated Parcel Force 24, didn't arrange it until 4 days after I paid, which would have been ok,if she then didn't tell me I should get it "tomorrow",when she'd altered it to 48 hrs,and had it picked up on the Thursday,so obviously wouldn't arrive until Monday.

Then it arrives with no raincover and stinking of smoke.

Can you tell I'm a little annoyed?

Disenchanted3 · 01/04/2009 16:18

did u pay paypal? start a dispute.

nicolamumof3 · 01/04/2009 16:55

open a dispute defo. what a cow!!! she's breached listing several times there!!!

BexieID · 01/04/2009 17:46

I would open a dispute too.

Sawyer64 · 01/04/2009 17:51

Yep.Think I will. Gotta wait 10 days though.Nearly up.

pebbles79 · 01/04/2009 18:11

You don't have to wait 10 days if you've actually received the item.

Oh I didn't know that Pebbles.

littlelamb · 01/04/2009 21:01

Has anyone here ever dyed pushchair covers? I'm really not too keen on my Britax Vigour being beige and, assuming I can get the covers off, I was thinking of dying it. Will it end in disaster??

BexieID · 01/04/2009 22:21

I know of people who have dyed their pushchair covers.
