luka is currently pushing tate round front room in volo!!!

Disenchanted3 · 30/03/2009 18:40

Oooh how is it?

is it super nippy?

I hope someone takes it soon, need PP funds for new one and don't want to deal with ebay!

MB lady emailed about it not being sent, talking about starting a dispute i was a bit snappy with her as it had gone this morning, ive been with my mum most days sorting out the funeral and visiting my Grandad and I put a £20 BNIB spiderman singing toy in with it then got the snappy email, so was a bit iffy with her Am just nervous about tomorrow, I have to do a reading.

nicolamumof3 · 30/03/2009 18:44

i bet dis but im sure it will all go ok. will be thinking of you...

yes the basicness of the volo is nice, im glad i've got the quest tho as well as its more padded not sure i'd sit luka in the volo for a long day out but it would be nice with a sheepskin in.

misdee · 30/03/2009 18:47

Hope it goes ok Dis.Will think of you.

Do you like the colours of volo Nicola?

pebbles79 · 30/03/2009 20:32

Not about prams, but do any of you sell your kids clothes on here or would I be better going straight to ebay? I need to clear out all of DD's 3-6 months stuff as she has far too many clothes and has eventually moved up a size (at the grand old age of 14 months, lol!).

OP posts:
Disenchanted3 · 30/03/2009 20:33

i might be interested in some bits pebbles

sal1309 · 30/03/2009 20:43

pebbles i would try here first as i found the smaller stuff went better on forums than ebay where as the bigger stuff you get more for on ebay than on forums lol

pebbles79 · 30/03/2009 20:58

I may as well give it a go anyway, easier than listing individual items on ebay. It's a pity really as waist wise she's still very much a 0-3, 3-6 months size but it's her sleeve length that's now becoming a problem! Poor girl lives in dresses so that I don't have to rely on her waist holding things up and she's still only in size 2 nappies !

OP posts:
Disenchanted3 · 30/03/2009 21:00

wow, dd is 14 weeks and in size 3 :O

nicolamumof3 · 30/03/2009 21:03

oh bless her pebbles she must be really diddy! my luka is a huge chunk 20m size 5 nappies getting tight now!

i do like the volo, love the colours, don't like the plasticky finish on hood tho. not sure i really need that and the quest tbh. will see how get on, taking it for test drive on school run tomorrow!

fadingfast · 30/03/2009 21:08

Not sure if here is the place to post but can anyone help me to decide on a stroller?

I am paralysed by indecision (a common problem for me!). Not sure between the Maclaren Quest or the Silver Cross Pop, but would consider other similar models if anyone highly recommends them.

I have a 11mo dd but will also need to fix a buggy board for my (lazy!) 4yo ds.

Thank you experts!

sal1309 · 30/03/2009 21:16

i prefer the quest to the pop but i like maclarens lol.

the maclaren xt is nice which is what i have at home and have the quest at my parents

Sawyer64 · 30/03/2009 21:30

A vote for the XT here too.

No experience of Quest or Pop.(No expert, just a lurker)

lillypie · 30/03/2009 21:41

I have just sold a pop and bought a quest.Although I loved the look of the pop I found it heavy to push and the handles uncomfortable.I much prefer the quest.

Disenchanted3 · 30/03/2009 21:45

Fading fast I am selling a VGC XT, pics are a few posts up raincover too

pebbles79 · 30/03/2009 21:49

Have got a tracking number, my Skate is on it's way!! Just a pity I'll be a few weeks for my custom liner.

OP posts:
Disenchanted3 · 30/03/2009 21:51

ooh yey

Am well excited about my XT coming Friday. Its the first NEW buggy Ive had in agesssss!

Anyone want a hot pink BEE hood, and bee footmuff?

fadingfast · 30/03/2009 21:53

Thanks Disenchanted but have promised DD a brand new one

nicolamumof3 · 30/03/2009 22:15

how tall are you? as quite a difference on handle heights, pop is tall, quest low. I LOVE quests am huge maclaren fan, but thought i would be daring and try a pop last year (well tried two actually just to be sure) hated them both, heavy to push, fabrics didn't like just didn't have the 'feel' of the maclaren. xt's and quests are v.different in weight and how they push etc. i am v.v.happy with my quest, im on my fifth maclaren since xmas i love them had two quests, two xts (black and grey) and an xlr. oh just realised on my sixth as got a volo today!!

fadingfast · 30/03/2009 22:22

I am tall (5 10") so handle height is important. I always thought the Quest was quite high? We had one a few years back and I've always been a Maclaren fan but now wondering whether to go for something different as I did have issues with the brakes.

nicolamumof3 · 30/03/2009 22:36

breaks totally changed now on quest. but i would think you would find it very low, would therefore recommend an xt over a pop, xts are shooting up in price tho cheapest about £160ish i believe but a fab buggy. disenchanted's is therefore a bargain!!
