nappy - I think the front wheel thing is just me not doing it right. DP managess it ok and I did it ok the other day, lol.

pebbles - did you enjoy the power cut? I had just arrived at PIL when it happened at 4:15ish. Get to work an hour later and everyones working in the dark. Not open yo customers though. Luckily it went back on 15 mins into my shift or it would have been a very long night! West end of Glasgow right the way upto Oban!

nappyaddict · 31/03/2009 01:02

Bexie did that lady reply to your email?

nicolamumof3 · 31/03/2009 07:41

Morning all!

Think i might sell the volo after all that!

Can't see point in having that and the quest!!

sweetkitty · 31/03/2009 08:51

Morning all I can't keep up with who has got what.

Today I must phone M&P and sort out the wheels for the Luna, have decided I am going to get either a cheap Zapp or a Star Zia, I am taking our ancinet XT to centerparcs but figure I could have a small buggy if DD2 or 1 gets tired!

pebbles79 · 31/03/2009 09:50

Bexie power cut was a nightmare! Trying to keep 3 kids entertained with no electricity is a nightmare, and they had dairylea dunkers and cereal for dinner, lol! DS2 (3) is so used to his Nintendo DS running out of battery that he kept telling me to just charge the TV LOL!!

Hi all, need some advice AGAIN!

Have seen a city mini on Ebay with 4 days to go am winning bidder with £42 so far but can go a fair bit higher I think...

Should I put my XT on here or Ebay as I know that will sell whereas the 03 does'nt seem to be shifting! Only problem is it means I may be left with no pushchair apart from big one which is'nt the handiest but does I guess.

I am feeling a bit daft now bidding when I dont have the cash other than the XT sitting there. LOL. Could be doing with the money from it but could also be doing with a pram that DS cannot kick the blimmin wheels on!!!

nicolamumof3 · 31/03/2009 10:46

i would get the xt listed now, how much did you pay for it? if you put a bin on say something appealing like £49.99 (plus postage) it will go?

Dis has hers on here, which is a newer one for £65 del.

i'd get them both listed as you might be a day or two without a pushchair at most. is that manageable? you could always delay in sending one out possibly.

BexieID · 31/03/2009 10:54

nappy - I forgot to send one . I'm now getting a c://drive so don't know if I need Nipper (although would love to try it). I'll see what she says about courier.

nicolamumof3 · 31/03/2009 11:19

the boys love the volo!

mamadiva · 31/03/2009 11:48

Hi Nic, I paid £65 in delivery for mine.

I love it too bits but no good when Liam keeps putting his feet on wheels and it jolts to a stop

Has anyone else got a big toddler and would you recommend the CM over XT?

BexieID · 31/03/2009 12:04

I'm well happy, the Kipling bag I got my parents to bid on for me for my b/day came today! It's lovely and purple, lol. And a good size for getting my camera/camcorder in too!

pebbles79 · 31/03/2009 12:58

Skate's here! It's massive and I'm a bit hmm about it. Will take it on the school run and see how I feel. I really hope I like it because I've wanted it for ages.

OP posts:
misdee · 31/03/2009 13:04

i love my skate. its my main pram for walking places as its big. its defo not one for the car. what colour did u get?

pebbles79 · 31/03/2009 13:09

I got the indigo denim and I'm getting a new liner made for it. I think the problem is I love my Infinity so much! I love the basket on the skate though, will be able to fit loads of shopping in it.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 31/03/2009 13:13

pebbles how old is your lo? i would love a skate too, but they are a big pram for a little baby i'd have one tho.

right im off for bath as i can't get warm, then ive got my mothers day treatments at 2pm!

pebbles79 · 31/03/2009 13:19

Zoey is 14 months but still very tiny. I think I'd definitely have loved it in carrycot mode. TBH, I'm probably not in the right mood to be getting excited about a new pram at the moment as my Aunty died this morning. We've been expecting it for the last fortnight but it really doesn't make it any easier

OP posts:
BexieID · 31/03/2009 13:35

Aww, sorry to hear abour your Aunt, pebbles.

DP may be made redundant (again) in 3 weeks so thats why I didn't get excited about the black Micralite.

sweetkitty · 31/03/2009 14:36

Pebbles - so so sorry to hear about your Aunt

Nicola - boys look great in the volo cannot believe you are selling it, well I can

Well phoned M&P and was told that the rear wheels DO NOT come off, asked why was I sold rear wheels for a pram when I cannot get the old ones off, she said well we don't ask those kind of details WTF? Anyway alternative is that I take it to a M&P shop they send it back and replace the wheels for me but at a cost of £50, the bloody thing only cost me £40 in the first place. I think it is cursed, it's a lovely pram and I do like it just the rear wheels look a bit knackered. Options are a) sell it and buy a new one or b) keep it knackered wheels and all and buy another buggy.

Saw a BJCM at toddlers today really like, cannot decide what I like best, the Zapp, Zia or BJCM?

nappyaddict · 31/03/2009 15:07

I would sell it and get a refund on the wheels you bought. You will sell it easily for £40 I would imagine.

I would sell the bumper bar seperately I think.

sweetkitty · 31/03/2009 15:20

But I like it and a new one is £140, I could get a new one but then I couldn't get another buggy later on IYSWIM.

I need to sell a few bits and pieces I have been stockpiling to fund new pram.

pebbles79 · 31/03/2009 15:41

sweetkitty someone has a V3 pink Luna on the For Sale board.

Really don't know if I'm keeping the Skate, I do like it I think, just don't know if I like it enough! Might sell and get a Bee!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 31/03/2009 15:51

luna's don't hold their value either so if you bought new then wanted to sell...

im going to keep volo, goodness knows what i was thinking of!!!!! think it was because my pay was a bit light this month and i get made redundant next month so thought it was extravagant. but hey its paid for now and it was cheap!

sweetkitty · 31/03/2009 16:30

Have narrowed my list down to
Zapp
Zia
BJCM
Lunamix

what would everyone else buy?

I don't do that mauch walking more like drive, get DD3 out car, walk for a bit then put DD3 and pram back in car

Could get another XT too oh bloody hell can't decide!

5intheEgg · 31/03/2009 16:31

I needed cheering up, so I bought the black Mac XT. I missed the delivery today though, and can't get it redelivered til Friday now Trying to pursuade DH to drive to the warehouse to collect an "unknown" parcel for me but he is having none of it.

Bexie, will sort that money for Micralite out some point tonight.

5intheEgg · 31/03/2009 16:32

Someone is selling a BJCM on here for £100 SK. If I wasn;t buying micralite I'd have bought it!
