Nicola is it lighter than pushing the P&T with just one seat on? My friend is looking at either the Nipper or P&T single (both second hand out the paper)

Disenchanted3 · 26/03/2009 14:00

Can you use 3G buggyboard on bug bee?

nicolamumof3 · 26/03/2009 14:43

omg yes LOADS!!! p&t about 5kg heavier i think!

nappyaddict · 26/03/2009 14:48

I did tell her P&T wasn't rated very much as a single only a double.

Nipper should definitely do a tandem I think!

pebbles79 · 26/03/2009 14:48

Can you remove the back wheels from a Luna? I'll fit it in the box I have if I could get the back wheels off but I can't work out how.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 26/03/2009 14:52

don't know pebbles i know mine came with the front wheels off, but not back.

pebbles79 · 26/03/2009 14:53

Arghh, I don't think they come off, only the front ones - typical!!

nappyaddict · 26/03/2009 14:57

Did someone want a toy dazzle?

Disenchanted3 · 26/03/2009 15:02

OMG dazzle is sooo cute!

DD is only 3 months old tho! lol

sweetkitty · 26/03/2009 15:30

Back wheels better come off the Luna I am just about to get mine in and sort it out, once the scary bit in Nemo is done they can watch the rest

Wouldn't get a P&T unless you wanted a double, PIA to fold/unfold.

Bexie - Scottish accents are lovely

peebles - great news about the Luna

nappyaddict - no had to pay for the bumper bar, had long argument but no joy!

nicolamumof3 · 26/03/2009 15:42

dazzle is v.cute!

pebbles79 · 26/03/2009 15:45

sweetkitty I downloaded the instructions for the Luna and it said nothing about removing the back wheels, just the front.

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 26/03/2009 15:57

erm you could be right there peebles so far not got them off but you must be able to

pebbles79 · 26/03/2009 15:59

They really shouldn't have sold you them if there was no way to replace them!

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 26/03/2009 16:03

now have an arrangement of spanners, screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches and powertowels will not be beaten

pebbles79 · 26/03/2009 16:05

Lol, well I'll wish you luck!

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 26/03/2009 16:12

will need it

nicolamumof3 · 26/03/2009 16:40

i'd ring them and ask them SK if they've sold you them there must be a way of fitting them (you would hope)?!!

sweetkitty · 26/03/2009 16:48

Have admitted defeat for now

Will let DP have a look later and phone them tomorrow, there is a nut at either end of the bar that holds the rear wheels and the brakes on, think if I can unscrew it the old wheels will come off.

How many times have I said I should just have bought a brand new one from M&P

pebbles79 · 26/03/2009 16:50

They wouldn't sell me a new clip for the adjustable legrest because it was riveted on, hopefully that means removing the back wheels is possible.

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 26/03/2009 16:52

You would think so the front wheels were £8 as apparently you get more with them the rear wheels were £4 and are just a wheel.

BexieID · 26/03/2009 17:39

Toms words are nut, beer, big, mama, mum and he kinda says lemur.

Disenchanted3 · 26/03/2009 19:18

I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the condition of the pushchair and that it has not arrived with you complete. I can assure you that both aprons as well as the instruction manual were packed carefully. I packaged it exactly as your instructions, if you would like to refer to your original message. I used a lot of tape to avoid tearing, but as the package was signed for at my end, perhaps you should be taking up the loss of the apron with your chosen courier company?

I detailed all obvious damage to the buggy in the description and if I missed any minor marks I apologise but if you refer to the original advert I think you will find it thorough and honest.

In the original advertisement the buggy was listed as pick up only. However you bid on the item prior to informing me that you would be collecting it by courier. That was your choice. Had the item been collected in person, you would have perhaps decided to change your mind. I might add that I had to wait in from 9am until 3.15pm for the collection of the buggy, which was not discussed prior your commitment to buy.

As for the cleaning of the buggy, I washed all of the fabric prior to sale as stated in the original ad, and fail to see how a second hand pushchair, used by two small children could have been made any cleaner.

I am an honest mother of two and primary school teacher, and I genuinely fail to see how you can quibble over this pushchair at the price you bought it for of £51.00. The problems you have experienced through courier are not my fault and I think it is unfair of you to say otherwise. I have only ever sold anything on ebay in good faith, and felt genuinely pleased that the buggy would go to another family who would make good use of it.

My suggestion for a solution. Courier it back to me and i will refund you your money, less the cost of the apron (unless of course you manage to retrieve it from your courier.

Disenchanted3 · 26/03/2009 19:19

she wants it back and is going to charge me for the apron

nicolamumof3 · 26/03/2009 19:41

omg dis!! i can't believe it. not sure where you stand tho with damage/loss in transit what a nightmare. all depends what you discussed re.packaging etc. reminds me again not to buy secondhand from ebay. sorry you really don't need all this atm just a clean serviceable buggy for your kids.
