Dis How tall is Dex? DS is 2.9 too (end of June 06 baby)

Disenchanted3 · 26/03/2009 12:12

DH just said look on listing, she said ....

recently washing the entire cover in preparation for sale ,

do you think shes washed it and put in box wet and the mould has grown?

was 11 days ago i bought, so may have been 2 weeks ago she washed??

nappyaddict · 26/03/2009 12:14

That Uppa Baby one with seat and bassinet works out at about £400. Shame the exchange rate is so crap now it would have only been about £300 before. Wonder how much it would cost to ship over.

nappyaddict · 26/03/2009 12:16

Why would you put it in wet though!! Surely any sane person would let it dry first.

nicolamumof3 · 26/03/2009 12:19

but look how its been packed, that wasn't done by a sane person!!

dis i cant think any three wheelers (decent air wheel ones) would be good for bus. what about a bjcm everyone goes on about their great fold for bus!

nappyaddict · 26/03/2009 12:32

The petite star zia 4 (don't get the 3 wheeled version it veers all over the place), moon kiss and moon fit are lightweight for the bus.

Disenchanted3 · 26/03/2009 12:34

id only get bargain argos bjcm tho and all sold out near me.

BexieID · 26/03/2009 12:48

Micralite FF is good for buses!

I wish I knew someone locally with a Nipper, then I could try it out! I know weightwise I will like it MB weighed 13kgs when I weighed it last week. I thought it was only 10kg!

nappyaddict · 26/03/2009 13:04

Bexie Do you want the red nipper? Then if you don't like it I can have first dibs? She still hasn't replied to my email asking about a suitable time for the courier to collect though.

WelliesAndPyjamas · 26/03/2009 13:08

Hello pushchair people!

Never been on one of your threads. Is it ok to just wander on here and ask a question or is it not the done thing? Just looking for someone with experience of a My Child pram who may also use a buggy board...

nappyaddict · 26/03/2009 13:13

That's fine WAP ask away

BexieID · 26/03/2009 13:16

nappy, when I asked about couriers I told her there was one with a time slot of 4-6:15 and she replied with - sounds fine in theory! not sure how they'd need it packed as don't have the box for it! I'm sure we could sort something out if the time comes. Hope this helps.

Maybe she has reservations or is trying to think of what the hell to pack it in, lol. Like me with this Micralite! For some reason I thought it still had the box, but didn't think to ask Debbie and DP only threw out the box to my red one last week! That would have been easier. Debbie just wrapped the black one in black bags and sellophaned it all really tight.

I think i'll raid the fruit & veg at work for bubble wrap and wrap it in that first, or try to find a box. I still have the box my MB came in, but want to keep that!

WelliesAndPyjamas · 26/03/2009 13:18

hey! hello again NA!

Hopefully a simple question. I've got a My Child pram (this one) and wanted to attach a buggy board (any brand) to it. I can't find anything through googling that says whether there are any that'll fit with it and have never used one before so don't know how easy or adaptable they are. Anyone got a My Child pram and a buggy board [long shot]? Or looking at the picture of the pram chasis in the link - does anybody think I can get away with fitting a buggy board?

Thanks!

nappyaddict · 26/03/2009 13:20

Bexie Could you get 2 or 3 boxes and tape them together to make 1 big box?

Disenchanted3 · 26/03/2009 13:22

no info on that buggy specifically but a 3G board fits most prams very well, and this looks similar to yours

pebbles79 · 26/03/2009 13:22

Afternoon all. Well sold my Luna and got a bit more for it than I though and that was even with listing the fault very clearly. Just need to hope that the box I've got sitting in the cupboard is big enough!! If not, I've been and bought plenty of bubble wrap today anyway.

Disenchanted3 · 26/03/2009 13:23

lots of similar, all seem to fit

BexieID · 26/03/2009 13:24

I could do yeah. Need to ask the lads to keep me some by at work.

BexieID · 26/03/2009 13:28

Toms still not talking so don't know about a Scottish accent yet. The few words he does say don't sound like a Scottish accent. He probably will have though.

WelliesAndPyjamas · 26/03/2009 13:28

thanks for the link disenchanted - you're right, the babystyle latina and the abc genion in particular have a very similar frame. Hopefully that's close enough.

So will check out ebay for a 3G board.

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/03/2009 13:31

Nappy how is your little boy?

nappyaddict · 26/03/2009 13:37

He's doing quite well thankyou Dunoon Bexie Ah that's good at least he's saying some words now. When did he start doing that?

pebbles79 · 26/03/2009 13:37

Bexie if you ask your local shop they've normally got crisp boxes flat packed that they could give you, that's what I do. Just wrap it securely in bubble wrap then wrap the cardboard boxes around with loads of parcel tape.

nicolamumof3 · 26/03/2009 13:38

pebbles thats good then!

i always like sending pushchairs in a box i worry so much about them! Bexie the nipper is Soooooo light as light as pushing a normal maclaren buggy i'd say, its 7kg apparently, its so easy to push even with tate in easy one handed. i adore it can you tell. will email you that pic now with tate in it!

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/03/2009 13:38

Goodo
