Calling all parents who’s ds sat the 11+ today... ds said maths was super hard and not the usual questions, he said he couldn’t finish the paper. Wondering if it was the case for the majority or he just had a bad day...

I've just checked the portal. The last message on file for us is the invitation to interview. So neither a rejection nor an offer.

Just checked the portal - can’t see anything either... Not good... Can’t see even the message calling for the interview...

Checked portal and saw messages and offer, then got the email at 10.30am

So proud of DS, didn't think he stood a chance - had absolutely no tutoring and was called back for under performance in English interview

Wishing you all the very best of luck - I sincerely mean that. This process is brutal our boys and girls are too young to be going through it

If your are waiting to hear regarding 13+ like us: DH just managed to talk to the school and they explained that they sent the 11+ emails this morning. No 13+ offers sent yet but they will be sent this afternoon.

Congrats to all the offers! We were lucky to get a yes too.
Sincerely, my heart goes to those who were hoping for offers but were unsuccessful. 🤞🏻 you all receive happy offers elsewhere. In time to come, once DC settled in new schools, rejection emails will be long forgotten.

Did you get the information about waiting lists from the email? We just got the email with a no. That means we don’t have any change?

Yes. It was a lovely letter saying he would be great at the school and thrive there. But they couldn’t offer him a place right now and that he was on a short wait list. Sort of double whammy. He’d fit right in, but you can’t come ;-)

Hi - no, it was an emailed copy of a letter from the head, it sounded just like the one surbitonlady got, all about how he would thrive at the school but they couldn’t (yet!) offer him a place..

Don't worry. The waiting list will move lots. Parents and boys will chose closer schools when they're offers come out, plus Tiffin early March.

@Rakushka04. Not as such.There is an "information morning" later this month to meet pupils and teachers.

There is a time in the summer term when your son will be invited up to Hampton. As Rakushka04 said there is the info morning where they will try and persuade you to accept Hampton. Then those who accept are invited up in the summer it is towards the end of the summer term. To those on the waiting list there is hope in my son’s class there is someone who is the only one of 4 or 5 who took his Hampton offer others went elsewhere like Tiffin...

My son is also on the waiting list. Like @All41and14all, on the second page there is a handwritten note by Mr Knibbs to keep in touch. I thought everyone had that, but is that not the case?
