I forgot to congratulate waiting around. Well done bet your made up and his offer came so fast. They must really want him.

polkadottyme · 05/11/2014 23:08

Ha ha that's very funny horsemad about bath with mood lighting and remote blinds, proper 5* luxury not the typical student digs then. Proper spoilt they won't want to come home if they living in such style.

Decorhate · 06/11/2014 07:24

I know I am ancient but in my day if our accommodation had central heating it was a luxury!

Well done to all those with offers. It's certainly an exciting time. Dd has yet to write her ps but she just seems to get around to things without any stress so I'll give her another 24 hours before I ask again Grin

JWIM · 06/11/2014 17:46

Many congratulations to all DCs with offers and good luck to those with interviews and additional entry tests.

DD has final meeting with her tutor tomorrow to complete her UCAS application. It should go off next week. DD wants to study International Relations. We will then wait and see.

polkadottyme · 06/11/2014 18:41

Yay littleham that was quick! Less stress now :)

polkadottyme · 06/11/2014 18:42

circular · 06/11/2014 18:44

That was quick Munslife - well done.

Waitingaround · 06/11/2014 18:50

excellent well done mumslife's DD.
And horsemad unfortunately the accommodation we could afford at bath definitely does not have mood lighting Smile.

Leeds2 · 06/11/2014 19:21

Well done mumslife 's DD.

Is the accommodation with mood lighting over subscribed, lol?

When do the personal statements (for non Oxbridge/medics/vets) have to be in by? DD is only Year 12, so not up to speed.

Waitingaround · 06/11/2014 19:28

15th January leeds but many colleges/schools want them in sooner so that they can add their references etc (DS's college kept his application for 3 weeks before they eventually sent it on to UCAS!)
