For teens under 16 you need to request a paper copy of vaccination status by ringing the vivid status line. The number is on NHS inform. You can’t get it online in Scotland.

For what it’s worth no one was the slightest bit interested in seeing anything when we got to France.

If you got to 'get username' on that login page you just need their details and a date of any of their past vax appointments. Once you have that you can reset the password.

I'm off on Friday, to high 90s temps in Italy. It's going to be so hard to get in that plane back...although I'll miss the dog and cat and the dog would not like anything over a sedate 60 f!

We are currently in sunny Menorca. Flew in from Glasgow on Saturday, no queues at Scottish end, breezed through passport control on Spain, there was a station for showing your covid passed but they asked where we had arrived from, we said uk and they waved us straight through. And now we’re here, nobody cares. They are SO pleased to have visitors back on the island and although masks are supposed to be complulsory on public transport there are as many people wearing them as chin hammocks as there ever we’re in Scotland.

We didnt have to don them for getting on the plane home either!

@WouldBeGood sorry to detail the thread but when I try and get a vax certificate for my 12 year old I get a message saying 'you can't sign up for this app'

@imstilljenny2 you can sign them up for an nhs id and get a record of vaccination, you’re right it’s not the app.

Was even asked to show cert on arrival in Bologna, despite someone enforcing masks on at door to airport, weirdly contradictory!

Not a peep on covid vaccination certificate on way to or way back from Portugal. No masks on the flight on way out. Local people still quite vigilant with masks on public transport while there (it’s mandatory) although the tourists were not (but no repercussions). We did while there as the locals were very compliant on trains and metro and it felt a bit rude not to. We were told masks required on flight back and about 80% of people had them on till about halfway through the flight. By the time we landed maybe 10% still had them on.

Not a single check of our covid docs to get into France either @RonSwan . After a great deal of stress about my DSbeing only partially vaccinated and having to get him a negative test before we travelled... What a nonsense 😒

@RonSwan Portugal has dropped all entry restrictions now, it's back to pre-pandemic for travel in.

we got an email 2 weeks before from the airline telling us we needed either vaccination certificate with 3 vaccines or to take a pcr test 24 hours before the flight….it caused me a bit of a panic as I’d not had my third vaccination yet and had visions of testing positive the day before the flight 😂 I’m glad it has opened up again. What a palaver

Ryanair asked for covid documentation ti be uploaded at online check in. I’m sure it’s not needed, but just uploaded screenshots and never looked at again 🤷🏻‍♀️
