The SNP has unveiled sinister plans to make its emergency Covid powers permanent. Deputy First Minister John Swinney says it's an opportunity to maintain the brilliant 'innovations' the SNP has made in the last 15 months.

Not shocked at all but worried yes !
I knew governments wouldn’t never want to give back these powers they never do 🤷‍♀️

Well yes, you kinda did accuse me and yes I'm fine thank you for asking. We don't get on, that's fine, you can't like everyone. So yes, it isn't great when someone you know doesn't like you tags you and implies that you've done something or thought something that you haven't and instead of apologising makes it all about them.

It's all about me because someone accused me yet again of being someone I'm not.

I'm not aware that I know you. How could I not like you? How utterly bizarre.

The beginning, or at least the beginning of my involvement, was when I was dragged into an argument between wouldbe, you and another poster.

I am pondering the stance this coalition government will take on the new oilfield.

On the one hand possible Scottish jobs, protects the industry for another wee while but on the other hand it isn’t great for the environment.

Sorry @forfucksakenett I definitely am not you but my phone went off charge last night and I had real world things to do this morning @ElephantOfRisk @WouldBeGood @Mango1982 @TheGenealogist and anyone else who has mistaken identity issues! Yes there are other people of independent thought on here.
As for the hate crime consultation sorry I was completely confusing that with the misogyny consultation by Helena Kennedy so I apologise.. I can see why the hate one may be redacted though, it's probably full of things related to the Alex salmond and Craig Murray debacle and a whole lot of terrible extremism and they are scratching their heads trying to work out which bits CAN be published!!!
I'm just going to repeat oon here that trans women are women and trans men are men and basically that's been the legal position ever since 2004
