Thing is I can't read Alba without thinking "Perfidious Albion" but then that would cover all politicians in all parties North and South of the Border and even the EU lot have been giving them a fair run for their money recently.

I was reading last night that 'someone' breached the Alba website and released membership details to the media. As well as entering into a constant editing battle to rewrite the Wiki page and redirecting one incorrect version of the website name to the SNP website.

It's very murky. The SNP should have reeled in or disowned their incel/TRA/MRA faction a long time ago rather than making personalised pleas for them to stay and allowing them to bully and threaten women with impunity.

Pretty shocking that the Herald published the names of those SNP defectors from the leaked Alba list. Not sure how legal it is, too!

I'm very surprised that the Herald's lawyers okayed that article. iirc publishing stolen details is a breach of GDPR and in some cases a criminal offence especially when they know the information was obtained without the permission of the data controller.

Let's hope he steps aside and so does every other candidate and politician who has made racist /sexist/ classist comments. And those who have siphoned off public funds to their mistress. And those who gave contracts to their friends, etc.
I can't wait until the faux moral outrage tips into real principles and impacts on voting. British politics would improve immeasurably if moral standards were applied across the board and if the other parties stopped pretending they don't know what a woman is.

Those comments by Alex Arthur are horrible and then add in convicted criminal Tommy Sheridan and they are definitely a shady bunch. I hope Salmond ends up totally humiliated after election day.
