Not a chance in hell will I be putting my X next to a party led by him.

I liked Ross Greer's comment to Sky News: "This is the very public meltdown of a disgraced has-been .......and the Greens will be ignoring him....”

He also repeatedly made the point that there are already two pro-Independence parties in Scotland who had already ensured a pro-Indy majority in Holyrood Confused

StarryEyeSurprise · 26/03/2021 18:42

Nope from me.

forfucksakenett · 26/03/2021 18:42

I'm not against the idea of an Indy supermajority right enough. I wouldn't vote for him though.

MrsAmaretto · 26/03/2021 18:57

I don’t get it, won’t it split the SNP vote and risk his goal of independence?

SpanishGoatFlower · 26/03/2021 19:11

Tartan trump, no way

gollymissdolly · 26/03/2021 19:17

Hell would have to freeze over before that man would get my vote.

I don't think so. It might actually work in the advantage of independence tbh. Fingers crossed!

It’s just embarrassing.

Having said that, if he sorts out the female/ woman issue, I would vote for him.

DanielODonkey · 26/03/2021 20:03

Could you imagine being such a narcissist that you set up a new political party and hold a press conference purely to gloss over your admitted less than appropriate behaviour with women? That your response to someone not covering up allegations is to throw such a monumentally embarrassing tantrum? He has no credibility and really needs to take himself off and reflect on his actions.

EdinburghFeminist · 26/03/2021 20:15

Agree with all of this. Cant stand him, wouldn’t want to be in a taxi with him. But if he sorts out the issues with being able to define a woman I would hold my nose and vote for him.
happygolurkey · 26/03/2021 21:09

think it'll be a 'no' from me

Horehound · 26/03/2021 21:11

I am voting for it

Calyx72 · 26/03/2021 21:17

@haggistramp

If alba are on the list in my region they will get vote. I'm an independence supported but quite frankly sick of snp, is particular nicola sturgeon and her cabal.
Me. I have already joined and will vote Alba on the list. I agree with haggistramp here
SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 26/03/2021 21:22

Flouncing out of your own party and starting a new one worked soooo well for Farage, didn’t it!

I hope every voter thinks long and hard about whether someone who has had to apologise for inappropriate behaviour towards women, is the sort of upstanding chap who should be involved in politics.

Yes! Exactly this.

Will I fuck!

Gingerkittykat · 26/03/2021 22:05

I'm pro-indi but increasingly despairing at the SNP so I am interested in finding out more.

From the hate crime bill to their stance on gender and many other things they simply have too much power with no credible opposition.

I've voted SNP before but this time will be voting differently.

Imgettingdesparatehere · 26/03/2021 22:11

Privileged white man thinks he can pick up where he left off, it's all about him. I wonder, will Craig Murray be joining him? He won't get my second vote, I will stick with the Greens.

BlackForestCake · 26/03/2021 22:13

No, the Scottish Parliament is elected by sort-of proportional representation.

Haudyourwheesht · 26/03/2021 22:13

Maybe Tommy Sheridan will join his party.

ParkheadParadise · 26/03/2021 22:14

Definitely

PrimalLass · 26/03/2021 22:16

Yes I'll vote for them in an attempt to get rid of the Greens. Anything to wipe the smug sweaty grin off Fatrick Harvey's bonce.

RJnomore1 · 26/03/2021 22:17

I would rather be hung by my own bowels than vote for that odious little man or anything he is or has been involved in.

PrimalLass · 26/03/2021 22:17

I'm frightened that he may get the votes of Scots who want independence but don't like NS's lefty-ness (I don't mean right wing; just right if NS, which isn't hard)

It's the SNP's treatment of women that's the problem, not their left-ness.

eurochick · 26/03/2021 22:18

Well, he certainly seems to have figured out what a woman is, unlike Nicola and her cronies.
