I see Joanna Cherry has joined Salmond's Alba party.

I think that was a rumour put out by a single random account. Unless it has been confirmed in the past 10 mins? I think she could still, though, which would be quite fun.

She has just tweeted "Yesterday I said I was taking some time out for health reasons. Any speculation to the contrary is incorrect. I intend to return to work as the SNP MP for Edinburgh South West when I am able. Thanks for all the good wishes." So maybe not.

So,looking at new cases in Scotland, anyone else think we're now seeing the effect of the Rangers parties?

West Lothian numbers look awful. I know the coronavirus map on all the UK data site isn't the preferred tool of this group, but I just looked there and West Lothian has switched to dark blue- the only region in the UK that colour. I feel a bit despondent. And that will likely affect Edinburgh's tier rating too.

Not really I feel everywhere I go is getting busier every day

Unfortunately West Lothian cases seem to be linked to schools

But why West Lothian more than anywhere else?

The cases in my area are schools/nurseries and workplaces mostly.

There are very few just "seeing Steve" cases.
Not sure what is causing the West Lothian upshot but it definitely gets rid of the England is riddled and we need to protect Scotland rhetoric. At this rate it will be the other way round.

Yeah. From experience though, children mix with others, bring it into school and then infect others who take it home. There was a lot of mixing (in my families anyway) around the games. I've had a few near misses since but (touch wood) not been directly affected.

My family is definitely DS in contact with positive case at nursery past onto us asystomatic. We have a lot of key worker parents so it's hard to know if it's children mixing or just through their job exposure.

Our contact list was very depressing 😂 walk to nursery!

I'm doing OK as long as I don't try and get out of bed and walk or talk. Can't lie down either as my oxygen levels drop down when I do! Going to be fun sleeping! 🙄

Of course, key worker children can be impacted too. I think I just have very honest kids in school who tell me what everyone 's been up to. 😂

Eek. Don't hesitate if you feel you need medical help.

Yes already been through nhs 24 who got me a video Dr appointment. Now on steroids to help my chest been told to keep upright as much as possible including sleeping. Want to avoid hospital if at all possible mostly as that would be scary and horrible for my DS for me to get whisked away. I'm monitoring every few hours and will call back if I get worse.
