6 changes from Saturday...

  • limit click and collect. Essential items only. Staggered appointment to collect and no entering building
LockdownSucksBalls · 13/01/2021 12:37

Wine and home school is fine right 🤷‍♀️🍷

Cismyfatarse · 13/01/2021 12:37
  1. Click and collect gone.
OP posts:
Groovee · 13/01/2021 12:38

Click and collect now suspended unless it’s for essentials.

Take away not allowed people indoors.

Alcohol consumption not allowed outdoors it will be illegal.

Cismyfatarse · 13/01/2021 12:39
  1. Serving hatches needed.
  1. Alcohol!

No alcohol outdoors in public.

Does that mean I can't get pissed in my from garden.

runningpink · 13/01/2021 12:40

-takeaway. Can’t collect indoors. Serving hatch or from doorway

-alcohol. Against law to drink outdoors in public from Sat! Can’t do that anyway pubs are shut.

  • employers to support working from home. If at home first lockdown should be doing so again

-something about tradespeople but missed it.

Cismyfatarse · 13/01/2021 12:40

WFH where possible.

  1. Essential work only in a household.

runningpink · 13/01/2021 12:41

Massive relief that she hasn’t stopped us meeting a friend for a walk.

I can cope with the rest of the above.

Cismyfatarse · 13/01/2021 12:42
  1. Must not leave or remain outside the home. Change in wording.

Cismyfatarse · 13/01/2021 12:43

Tradesmen in house as I write. We need them to finish - fast!!!

Define essentials, kettle, duvet, stationary can all be essential. How to put as much business in Amazons direction as possible!

RaspberryCoulis · 13/01/2021 12:46

So McDonald's and Starbucks can keep their drive through and their multi-million profits.

The little local cafe which has been struggling on since March offering takeaway sandwiches and cafe - closed.

That's fair, isn't it? And we'll praise John Lewis for suspending click and collect even though I've just said that click and collect for clothes and household is fine. Hmm

StatisticallyChallenged · 13/01/2021 12:46

This all feels like pointless tweaking tbh

WouldBeGood · 13/01/2021 12:47

@RasperryCoulis yes, that’s disgusting

FloraFocus · 13/01/2021 12:47

They need to stress that once you have had a vaccination you may still pass on the virus.
A Healthcare professional I know wasn't aware of this.

While I'm at it why are they all in a hall together spreading miasmas? Get online fgs.

RaspberryCoulis · 13/01/2021 12:47

This bit hasn't changed though, Cis. There is an exemption for people coming into your house to maintain it. If you have decorators in, a plumber, plasterer, someone to fix your boiler, that's essential maintenance.
Groovee · 13/01/2021 12:48

So Dh will still work as people need their boilers working.

runningpink · 13/01/2021 12:48

I think the wee cafes can stay open but only serve from the door. Which isn't ideal since it’s freezing and most wee places won’t be set up for this scenario.

Dinnafashyersel · 13/01/2021 12:49

Outdoor drinking is illegal under local by-laws in loads of places (I think all of Greater Glasgow) all the time, so no change on that front here.

Revelation that other people can be trusted to "behave" with Champers at the Park. Shock

Seeingadistance · 13/01/2021 12:50

I’ve never done click and collect but how is it more dangerous than doing your shopping the old fashioned way?

WouldBeGood · 13/01/2021 12:50

And again, no evidence for any of this

Iwillneverbesatisfied · 13/01/2021 12:50

are you allowed to go for a walk?

DDog has the groomers this afternoon, is that allowed? I did wonder if it was essential but DDog has a coat that requires regular cuts or it gets painfully matted....and they are still open?

runningpink · 13/01/2021 12:50

What does the last one about when you leave house mean?
I don’t really understand what she changed
