They said that they'd do rest of population in parallel with second doses but that will surely require a significant amount of recruitment.

Matilda2013 · 04/01/2021 14:30

Anyone know if jury duty gets cancelled?

StatisticallyChallenged · 04/01/2021 14:31

Wasn't covered.
MamaTookMyEyebrows · 04/01/2021 14:32

No update on house moves either. Not optimistic.

So expect recruitment process to start May then?

Arrrgghh

RaspberryCoulis · 04/01/2021 14:32

Missed the start of wee Nippy's statement, just switched on in time to see her saying how sorry she was that schools were closed all month. Hmm

What I want to know - and I appreciate it's the most first-world, middle class issue ever - is whether my lovely cleaner can still come??

Baycob · 04/01/2021 14:33

What about universities ? I mean practical courses like medicine ?

WaxOnFeckOff · 04/01/2021 14:33

Funerals are still 20 but no after do. Just the funeral. Churches shut except funerals, weddings etc or to film a service

hapagirl · 04/01/2021 14:34

I was called for jury duty for 11 Jan which was fine but then asked for and got excusal when I found out my 3 DDs would be at home.

Gibbonsgibbonsgibbons · 04/01/2021 14:35

Why is “nippy” sexist? It’s not a word I use but I have heard it used about men, women & (mostly) wee dogs 👀

StatisticallyChallenged · 04/01/2021 14:35

Davidson asking for daily vaccination figures - numbers vaccinated by healthboards and nationally and when will over 80s receive letters

"on publication, intend to break down weekly in to categories and health board, consider whether greater frequency would be possible, don't want to put too many burdens of data collection...weekly might remain"

anon444877 · 04/01/2021 14:36

Oooh the kids screaming cut me from hearing RD. brilliant.

Ruled · 04/01/2021 14:37

Thank you for the updates everyone. So depressing

At least under 12s can still play out - I'm not religious but I will pray for decent weather conditions.

Here's hoping my UK employer is a little bit sympathetic to the Scottish school situation. I could cry.

BilboBercow · 04/01/2021 14:38

I could greet about schools... and I do think it's necessary but my heart breaks for my 7 year old and I'm stressed about my own mental health because I can't homeschool and work from home

NotAnActualSheep · 04/01/2021 14:39

Aw feck. Thanks for the summary though statistically. You're much quicker than the BBC!

MamaTookMyEyebrows · 04/01/2021 14:41

My six year old is currently curled up in her bed. She misses her friends and I’ve just broken it to her that she won’t be going back for a while.

TimeforLaChange · 04/01/2021 14:42

Gibbonsgibbonsgibbons
It stems from 'Nippy Sweetie' and was always used about women. It is a gendered slur. I dont like NS much and I def dont support the SNP but I think this slur is out of order. Or at least be honest about it and call her a bitch.

WouldBeGood · 04/01/2021 14:43

Yes, @RaspberryCoulis snd I have a painter booked to come next week. House been in chaos for months pending his arrival

Ruled · 04/01/2021 14:43

Provision from the schools really bloody better step up from last lockdown!!"

WouldBeGood · 04/01/2021 14:43

@MamaTookMyEyebrows I’ve taken to my bed too.

Putting off telling DS as he’s happily chatting over internet

I think language evolves, like a PP I've heard it about all sexes and genders and especially about Jack Russels! I would also say the meaning is very different to bitch
StatisticallyChallenged · 04/01/2021 14:46

short term vaccine efficacy - 90% from pfizer, 70% from oxford

Cismyfatarse · 04/01/2021 14:46

Patrick Harvie has a picture of a Dalek behind him.

Do you think it is a family portrait?

😂 @Cismyfatarse

anon444877 · 04/01/2021 14:48

I've only heard it as 'a bit nippy' ie hurts - which this does. Nippy pretty mild compared to a lot of things.
