I had two bottles in the cupboard and from the looks of my parcels a few more to be opened today so I didn’t bother. Not feeling much like a drink at the moment but that may change later

I did however get the best Christmas present ever...a hug from my best friend. I was fighting back the tears

Merry christmas everyone, hope you are all having as good a time as you can.

Our day was ok. Teenage DS14 seemed to have a magical change of personality for the day and happily ate turkey, went on a walk, participated in the extended family zoom call - less successful as reminded us we weren't there, and we've all just watched Jumanji the next level.
So not the day we had planned but not too dreadful either.

We've had a nice day too. Managed a couple of hours with my parents. Almost glad it's over now and we can just lie low now for a while. I was worried I'd cry when we said goodbye but I was driving so I had that to concentrate on.

Now home, kids in bed, a good book and a brandy.

We’ve had a lovely day very relaxed & unhurried, we even watched a film which we never normally do & that was lovely too.

Glad that's it all over. Watched Call the Midwife Christmas special, drank prosecco to help relax after being on the go since 5am. Eating leftovers today for dinner, no cooking.

What supermarkets are open on Boxing day? I know ASDA is closed but is the coop and morrisons open?

It's a very slow day in tits' house due to over exuberant wine quaffing yesterday.
