Just in case anyone is interested, the BBC/BBC Scotland rarely allow commenting on the news stories on the website but when the stories are added to the Facebook page, commenting is allowed, The comments really show the polarity of the issue. I've gotten into a few spats just for the lols.

If you are ever bored and fancy a bit of sparring, that's a good place to go. I once had someone tell me "Your stupid" My stupid what? :o I just replied with "my Dad's bigger than your Dad"

Don't forget the obligatory speech about loving and caring for each other

But not if you are a person who needs to see and interact with loved ones. We don't care about you

StatisticallyChallenged · 29/10/2020 09:56

I've noticed the comments on their covid stories going like that. The full on covid is fake conspiracy theory lot are loud, but there's an increasing "this isn't the right way forward " voice coming through

WaxOnFeckOff · 29/10/2020 09:56

I've not watched it since the actual pandemic in March.

WouldBeGood · 29/10/2020 10:01

The worst thing of all is the couthy ads with the Special Voices. Especially the poem one

WaxOnFeckOff · 29/10/2020 10:01

The please put us all in tier 4 and yous lot are not doing lock down properly and killing my granny lot are also loud, but I have noticed some sense coming through also.

I don't think I've seen those either, I watch very little live tv
StatisticallyChallenged · 29/10/2020 10:05

Our TV broke when we moved, it's taken forever to get it fixed so I've seen nothing for 2 months!

littlbrowndog · 29/10/2020 10:06

Omg the poem ones. I rember with horror and some degree of WTAF

WouldBeGood · 29/10/2020 10:09

Yes.. @littlbrowndog exactly

WouldBeGood · 29/10/2020 10:14

I think this might be it. Warning: do not watch if feeling nauseous

anon444877 · 29/10/2020 10:15

I can't watch politics before bed - I'm strictly fluffy nature programmes at the moment but even autumn watch has some unpleasant moments.

I'll peek at the Facebook bbc pages - the twitter comments relating to Scottish politics are appallingly savage.

anon444877 · 29/10/2020 10:18

Oh that poem - eurghhh. There's something that feels so condescending about it.

WaxOnFeckOff · 29/10/2020 10:23

boke {envy]

ssd · 29/10/2020 11:42

I liked it but I'm a sucker for any self help mental health shite just now.

WaxOnFeckOff · 29/10/2020 11:51

I'm just a big old cynic ssd, but if it helps you then that's good.

StatisticallyChallenged · 29/10/2020 11:52

Are we expecting the announcement as part of first minister's questions?

WaxOnFeckOff · 29/10/2020 11:57

No idea but that would be good if it was.

StatisticallyChallenged · 29/10/2020 12:21

Coming now...

WaxOnFeckOff · 29/10/2020 12:26

By the sounds of it we are getting shafted.

WaxOnFeckOff · 29/10/2020 12:27

First one I've watched in months.

LizzieMacQueen · 29/10/2020 12:30

Stirling is level 3 😟

WaxOnFeckOff · 29/10/2020 12:33

yep, Edinburgh and East Lothian got a glimmer of hope but nothing for Forth Valley and now we get the same as Lanarkshire - she can totally get to fuck.

celtiethree · 29/10/2020 12:36

A brief threatening of Lanarkshire! Behave or else.
