Speechless and disgusted. Is it thoughtlessness? Arrogance? Panic?

I actually don't think resignation would be good enough. She needs sacked and charged.

Jacob Reese- Mog refused to allow MPs to work from home even though many said the Gov advice is to work from home if you can.

sashagabadon · 05/10/2020 16:07

Even JRM hasn’t said people should go to work with COVID symptoms and a positive COVID test Grin

throwingawaymyshot · 05/10/2020 20:16

don't agree with what she did, but NS calling her 'Margaret Covid' twice now is blatant attempts to bully her into resigning. Once you might just get away with pretending its a slip, but twice? A clear attempt to get the cybernats to copy her and pick up the nickname. its trying to label her as some kind of modern 'Typhoid Mary'. If I were Margaret, any thoughts of resigning would be out the window now and I'd fight back against such bullying. It must be seriously impacting her mental health. What about her kids (if she has any?) Look at that labour guy in wales I think it was, who committed suicide, different situation but no one offered support to him. Fair enough saying someone did wrong but to call someone names is different.

BlueThistles · 06/10/2020 07:30

has she Resigned yet ?

PapsofJura · 06/10/2020 09:12

@BlueThistles no, nothing at all from her. Apparently she also attended mass whilst waiting for her test with a congregation that was mainly quite elderly.

BlueThistles · 06/10/2020 11:11

oh lord, it's almost as though she's hoping we all forget what she has done and she can carry on in her very profitable role 🤔

How can you be so utterly cynical, @BlueThistles?

It's almost as if she's hoping that the announcement of further restrictions on our everyday lives due to be pronounced shortly will make us forget what an utterly contemptuous human being she is.

Luckily some of us have longer memories than that. Grin

InTheVelvetDarkness · 06/10/2020 13:27

I’ve been following since this was announced and I’m so shocked she hasn’t resigned.

She made a gross huge mistake endangering public health

In any other job it would be gross misconduct and she would be sacked.

I was sitting thinking is she waiting and waiting to keep getting an extra weeks pay ...
If she is suspended just now will she be on full pay.

It’s actually sickening , families worried about isolating on minimum wage jobs and she flouted rules on 82k job and clinging onto it.

Own your mistake and bloody apologise , had she even publicly apologized at all ?

NotAnActualSheep · 06/10/2020 13:57

Yes, this is the current news. Again, sound decision making befitting an MP going on there. Her office isn't responding to questions, apparently. I am actually getting a bit worried about her...obviously she may be ill with the virus, but I do also wonder about her mental health with the fallout from this. She made a lot of mistakes, but hope she is getting support. Not nice to be so publicly torn apart by friends and colleagues, even ignoring us randomers on the internet. But I don't think her silence is helping her case, even if she got a minion to make a brief "holding" statement or something.

BlueThistles · 06/10/2020 14:38

time will tell 🌺

NotAnActualSheep · 07/10/2020 16:18

Just heard that NS is going to tighten up on the regulations around self isolation along with the general review of the restrictions just announced. Can't think why she may be concerned that people aren't complying with that one?!

Straven123 · 09/10/2020 18:35

What was the speech about that she 'had' to go to Westminster to make?

BlueThistles · 09/10/2020 19:09

She needs to resign 🌺

BrazenlyDefying · 10/10/2020 10:54

How many days now without a resignation?

WaxOnFeckOff · 10/10/2020 13:08

Can you imagine if this was a tory? And they claim that the SNP aren't given preferential treatment? The fury over Cummings was in the media daily for weeks and months and yet here we are. No doubt still claiming her fat salary.

BlueThistles · 10/10/2020 13:10

She'll be self isolating hoping it's all been forgotten about ... Wrong

MJMG2015 · 10/10/2020 13:14

I was just about to see if I could see any updates about this.

Are the people in her constituency not kicking up a big fuss?

nibdedibble · 10/10/2020 13:15

The SNP aren’t giving her preferential treatment, she has to be the one who resigns and we don’t know if her party whip has demanded that or not (sincerely hope SO).

What a bloody chancer. A terrible person to be an MP. Show some bloody courage, ffs.

(I’m not a Tory btw. It is the wrong way to behave in any party.)

WaxOnFeckOff · 10/10/2020 13:15

She'll be self isolating

Holed up rather than self isolating - she didn't understand what that was apparently...

No doubt she will have "forgotten" about it?

And you are right, of course we are remembering but the media seems to have given up? Is this part of "Be Kind"?

WaxOnFeckOff · 10/10/2020 13:18

@nibdedibble, I'm not a tory either. I wasn't suggesting the SNP were giving her special treatment. I was suggesting that whilst SNP supporters claim that the media are out to get them. it's pretty obvious that isn't the case and that if this had been a Tory MP , both they and Boris would have still been getting pelters. Even though Boris would have the same level of power to do anything as Nicola does. Double standards.

nibdedibble · 10/10/2020 14:06

Yeah @WaxOnFeckOff I tend to agree there. Wonder if it’s because so much else is going on, or if it’s just that SNO are not rated highly enough for anyone to bother with for long!

WaxOnFeckOff · 10/10/2020 14:18

Between that and NS's lying etc there is a lot going on but seemingly none of it makes the press or doesn't for long.

The Cummings story ran for 10 days and still get mentioned daily. Clear bias in favour of the snp that this story disappeared after a couple. Might make snp think twice about mentioning Cummings as it’s an obvious come back!

17 and 37 on that list are linked, aren't they?

I must say I didn't know about lots of these. Every day is a school day.
