Got a new fella in my life, we've been to bed, something's bothering me...

When (ahem), I'm doing things to him and at the moment of big pleasure (if you get my drift) he utters such words as: 'oh gosh, golly gosh, oh flip' and at the high point, I got an: "oh sugar".

I find this a terrible turn off, it's like being in bed with Billy Bunter, what would you do?

Also, I've noticed that he talks about his mother in almost every sentence... should alarm bells be ringing?

Got to dash to work now but will check in later, please offer me some advice, I've been out of the dating game for ages and may be a bit rusty, but is this normal for a grown man?

p.s. regular mn here, just name changed (hope it works, cringe)

Daisy - honestly, his name does not begin with a J! How did you handle yours?

I have had a weirdo mummy's boy whose name began with a J oddly enough, one morning, I found him working his way through a bag of class A and flirting with his mother on the phone, it was about 5am.

I left him that weekend!

Anyway, I digress!

Greeny is this you again???

toopolite · 29/09/2009 16:29

It's true, I'm not making any of this up, stop making me feel like a freak!

I'm not Greeny, whoever they might be.

I'm just a poor, honest Mnetter that encounters all the freaks and oddballs of the world, brings them back to mine and has an eye-opener.....

Am taking everyone's advice on board though, I really appreciate it.

I have no advice but this thread has cheered me up!!!

i understand i couldnt stand this... but then i may but up with it if a shag was involved..

think you may need to take the lead in bed and talk dirty hoping he will follow

clumsymum · 29/09/2009 16:35

toopolite, he obviously thinks you are such a nice girl, and would be shocked ....

Avendesora · 29/09/2009 16:35

Sounds like he has read this thread

toopolite · 29/09/2009 16:41

Thing is, I frequently let rip with the old potty mouth, he knows I talk like a navvy, so why is he holding back?

(worried he has read thread now)

Thread of the week, this

toopolite, your weirdo mummy's boy sounds a bit like a famous rock manager I encountered once, who allegedly liked to masturbate while talking to his mother on the phone.

thetattooedmagpie · 30/09/2009 09:25

Well he had to didn't he ? DP was on a boring course yesterday - so I was texting him extracts of this thread to cheer him up. And keep him awake.

Got home, got frisky and at the ' moment of big pleasure ' he uttered "Golly Gosh !" in his best Hugh Grant voice. Both ended up crying with laughter and nearly putting back out.

So thank you MN - life's been shit recently and that's the best laugh I've had in months !

toopolite · 30/09/2009 10:08

Happy to be of service Magpie!

Thanks TP

Avendesora · 30/09/2009 10:15

Maybe his mother read the thread

More seriously, its a small funny thing that with any luck will give you both something to giggle over in old age. Fingers crossed for you.

toopolite · 04/10/2009 20:16

lou33 · 04/10/2009 20:41

i laughed out loud as it was so unexpected and then told him i thought we were not suited

whomovedmychocolate · 04/10/2009 20:44

I've only just seen this - will you stop Shagging Boris and let him get on with running London FFS!

toopolite · 04/10/2009 21:03

I most certainly intend to keep shagging this man! Having graduated to an 'oh jesus' I think there is hope!

I shall leave Boris where he belongs - in the quen vic with peggy mitchell!

OP posts:
purpleduck · 04/10/2009 21:21

You KNOW you have to keep shagging him for our benefit, right?

And report back WORD FOR WORD!!!

purpleduck · 05/10/2009 16:17

I CAN'T have killed this thread!

toopolite · 05/10/2009 16:35

Purple Duck - I think they're all waiting for me to shag the gentleman again! Going by my past track record, there may be a long wait!

However! I think I may be seeing the man in question in a day or two (possibly Thursday evening), so I will endevour to do my bit for the good of MN and I'll report back my findings.

By the by - he has sent me another text saying (I know it's tea time, so again, sorry if tmi), saying that he is getting hard thinking about me - this is a major breakthrough! I think he may be storing up a rude word for me!

ooooooohhhhhh! Has anyone said anything to him? Come on now, be honest with me.....

I could barely speak i was laughing so hard

toopolite · 05/10/2009 16:42

Oh my god, what have I started!

OP posts:
toopolite · 05/10/2009 16:44

You wait till you get an 'oh flip'!

I thought he was asking for something kinky!

OP posts:
queenofdenial2009 · 05/10/2009 22:19

Mumsnet often makes me laugh, but this is a first as I have tears pouring down my face.

Especially the thought of all those shagging couples up and down the country now saying 'oh my gosh' at the ahem big moment.

Please, please keep posting - in full detail, word for word.
