ATA have FB messaged you

mathanxiety · 09/11/2009 20:10

Just saying Hi, and getting some kind of protective order might be the right way to go to keep him from harassing you. Also ask the school not to release your DS to your H if he shows up asking for him.

Knickers0nMaHead · 09/11/2009 20:18

have replied to your email.

I feel quite stressed out tonight, want to get keys and get out of here. I feel like I have a hundred jobs too all of which I cannot do until I get the holy grail of these keys.

I have tried to take care of myself today drinking water, and herbal teas for my IBS which has flared up - worked til about 2pm when I found DSS's chocolate birthday cake . I am worried that I am getting too stressed out. Been sweeping up today and changing bedding etc and my hair is everywhere! Good job I have lots of it.

You are doing well! I waited 18mo for a house and it killed me. I got offered the house on tuesday morning, signed tenancy and picked up keys wednesday. Bought paint thursday. Decorated the whole house on the following monday and tuesday, and stayed saturday with ds and never went back! I was so deserate to move in the day i got the keys. Just make sure you try not to rush. Hard i know. Is everything all planned etc?

NeedCoffee · 10/11/2009 18:25

ATA-try not to stress out, I know its easier said than done, hope I haven't made things worse cos of my stupid dad. Thats all arranged now, so not to worry about that. I'm not at college now till Fri so if you need a lift anywhere wed or thur let me know

Knickers0nMaHead · 10/11/2009 18:53

mathanxiety · 11/11/2009 17:19

AboardtheAxiom · 11/11/2009 19:56

Hi everyone

at the advice: " don't go crazy"

I get my keys TOMORROW!!!!!!! We are going to go and give it a clean and move a few unnoticeable things in, then move in day is FRIDAY. I am very excited and nervous.

stressed2007 · 11/11/2009 20:26

I am so excited for you. You should be so proud of yourself.

AboardtheAxiom · 11/11/2009 20:31

thanks stressed I genuinely couldn't have done it without everyone on here supporting me along the way.

I am trying to prepare myself for how I will feel once I have left and he realises. I have not decided on things such whether I will tell him my address, and contact with DS as I want to see how he behaves.

I think it will be a wobbly weekend!!

NeedCoffee · 11/11/2009 20:53

ATA have you sorted out internet access-I mean do you have a dongle or internet on your phone? If not may be worth getting a cheap dongle-not really sure how they work though.

You'll be fine over weekend, I can be around if you need any support

Julezboo · 12/11/2009 15:55

Haven't posted before but read avidly! Just wanted to say goodluck for tomorrow and please keep us updated if you can

Wish I was closer to help x

AboardtheAxiom · 12/11/2009 16:30

Hi again I have had a hectic day but I am sure tomorrow will be even more so! I have my house keys now and will be rushing back and forth tomorrow moving all mine and DS's stuff in. I am quite worried we won't get everything moved in time but it will be a case of having to. Two of my three car helpers can only spare a couple of hours in the morning, although 3rd car helper can help me all day thankfully. I am talking Kalms tablets and trying not to stress although I have felt really unwell all day today. I am hoping it will ease once I have moved everything out.

I haven't wrote a note yet (need to do ASAP), finished my CCgrant form (will go into WA on monday), called to claim income support (will do saturday or monday), and probably lots of other things too that I really should do but haven't had chance to fit into a day!

I have a mobile broadband dongle yes so internet access not a problem.

Knickers0nMaHead · 12/11/2009 18:29

Good luck for tomorrow! Btw, dont suppose there is a tel number on your ccg form is there? I posted mine two and a half weeks ago and havent heard anything yet

queenofdenial2009 · 12/11/2009 20:12

Good luck tomorrow my lovely, I'll be thinking of you.

Please think very carefully about letting him know where you live, you'll never be able to take that knowledge back. Leave the note and just wait a week - in the grand scheme of thing its not that long a time.

AboardtheAxiom · 12/11/2009 20:24

Sorry knickers the lady at women's aid has my form, but will ask her on Monday for you. I know they can take up to six weeks to come through.

Thanks QoD and yes you are right I will hold off on trusting him with my address for a little while.

AboardtheAxiom · 12/11/2009 21:01

HI Shamsham! How are you getting on? I have been thnking about you hope you are okay.

OP posts:
NeedCoffee · 12/11/2009 21:15

ATA-you're bound to feel anxious and stressed but believe me, the minute you're in your own home, safe and able to do as you please, a weight will be lifted off your shoulders! You may also feel a sense of anti-climax and unbelievable loneliness, especially when you're first left on your own and DS is in bed. This is normal-or it was for me anyway!

Good to know you'll have access to thge internet, sorry I can't help tomorrow, have an exam so can't even skip college, am available Sat if you need me for anything, i'll have dd2 with me but would be able help paint or wallpaper, I can fit carpets and laminate too, am a dab hand at DIY me, did my whole house myself while pg with DD1

Agree that waiting a while before you tell him your address is a definate, you could use you mums or sisters place asa a meet up to discuss him seeing DS maybe.

AboardtheAxiom · 12/11/2009 21:24

Hi needcoffee thanks, I am expecting a slump at some point when I leave, am so tense and highly strung at the moment that it is bound to happen.

The house is carpetted and in liveable condition but thank you so much for your offer to lend a hand, I may call you up on it at some point as I am a bit clueless!! Luckily house is fine although I do plan on doing some painting in certain rooms once I am settled.

Good luck with your exam tomorrow, Shall I give you a ring after tea to sort out details for sofa and oven being brought?

OP posts:
NeedCoffee · 12/11/2009 22:13

yeah you can do, I finish college around 4, I think DB and DP was going to get to yours around 7, so any time in between then? Or you can just text me your address and i'll text you when they're on their way as its all arranged this end

Thanks and good luck with getting everything done tomorrow
