we share an email address and he has been obsessed with this bloody website for weeks now. tonight i found he had a msg from someone and when i cross-checked it against his 'page' i found he had already sent this random woman (who, incidentally is all tits and pouting and fake tan) a msg saying 'you look fantastic honey'. . she msged him back saying he obvv has very good taste.

wtf was he doing sending that? what a git! and he kept going on about how he wasnt going to msg anyone or do any of the 'friends' listings etc (and he hasnt so far). she has now sent him a friends request. shall i decline it on his behalf? or just quietly keep an eye on it? should i say something? i feel unneccessarily angry about it but not sure i should be, wwyd???

yes we share an email but i had to do a bit of snooping to find out what he had sent. its his own fault tho right??

OP posts:
jenwa · 27/08/2008 19:18

If you found the message from someone you have every right to find out who they are even if it means looking in to what he sent. Its a shared email!
If he is online now at work email him!!! Can you send an email telling him you have received a message from a woman and you dont like the look of this and whats he doing????

jenwa · 27/08/2008 19:20

Does he know her do you think?? Maybe from past or collegue?

belcanta

you say it's a music website. Perhaps they share a passion for an obscure band and perhaps dh has got all confused and excited by finding someone with the same weird esoteric taste as him and in his excitement has suddenly thought that he has some kind of, y'know, bond with her....

(she says desperately trying to look for an excuse for his twattish behaviour)

belcantavinissima · 27/08/2008 19:27

i dont think it occurred to him it goes thro to email address tbh.

i dont think its someone he knows esps as they have user names much like we do with madeup names not our real names iyswim. did that make sense?? and frankl;y unless he has been frequenting lapdancing joints i doubt he would know anyone that looks like that. god, maybe thats EXACTLY what he does when he is ' working late'

belcantavinissima · 27/08/2008 19:28

groucho

its a weird site actually, it shows pple who like the same type of music as you and obv he likes the look of her. wanker. . she doesnt look anything like me

OP posts:
jenwa · 27/08/2008 19:34

Yeh and I bet she is not as nice as you. She prob has fake boobs and sooooo much make up. (hoping you feel better)

I would say don't do or say anything yet. Just watch and observe secretly to see how far he will take this. That's the only way you'll know what his intentions are. If you confront him, he will only get secretive about things and then you'll never find out.

belcantavinissima · 27/08/2008 19:36

hmm, well he did have an 'indiscretion' a few years back when he appeared to be going thro some kind of stupid man-crisis over turning thirty

shit he is back gotta go

OP posts:
jenwa · 27/08/2008 19:37

Just wondered if she has maybe told him her username so he could search her? Just thinking if it was a friendly thing then maybe she looks better in her pic then real life for him to make a comment on her appearance! 'honey' is a name you would tend to call someone you may know? Sorry would not like a random bloke calling it me. Friends call it me (people I know well).

grouchomarx · 27/08/2008 19:45

actually jenwa's theory is plausible, belcanta... I have seen some of my friends' facebook pics and I am gobsmacked because they do not look anything like as hot in real life! And the 'honey' to a friend thing also sounds plausible. Would dh say that to a friend?

belcantavinissima · 27/08/2008 22:42

i dont know i dont think so. i havent said anything to him. am biding my time and will keep an eye on it

i hope it is just some one he knows. could he know her through work?

mistyamica · 28/08/2008 00:53

I would email the bitch and tell her 2 "keep away from my man unless you have a death wish bitch"

Always go for the girl cause once she knows the guy she's been chatting to has a missus she will realise he is a twat!

(Unless she is a right slut and carries on talking dirty to him in which case pretend to be him, meet up with her and kick her faked tanned scraggly haired butt!)

Ok rant over...

I would not tell him and watch how far he takes it, if it's not her it will be someone else if he is not that trustworthy.

WAtch and wait gather evidence then jump on him and not in a suggestive way either.

beanieb · 28/08/2008 14:20

why not add her as a friend? Join up, add him as a friend and then add her. There may be a mutual friends thing then he'll know you know?

lighthouse · 28/08/2008 14:39

She might refuse you, wouldn't bother doing that. Gather as much evidence as possible so that he cannot back out of it when confronted. I would really murder my other half if he did that. Well out of order. Don't take any crap.
