Could you be satisfied in a loving relationship without orgasm through intercourse?

Could you be content & satisfied in a relationship which meets most of your needs, except, to achieve a PIV orgasm?

Other means have had some success but are in no way consistent.

Both mid / late 50s, we've been together for around 8 months.

We are in love, the sex is great, the connection is amazing, but the mutual orgasm is elusive...

Everyone is different, you get off, how you get off, if cumming with PIV is important to you then by the sounds of it finding the right partner is going to be a lot more difficult, as it sounds like the majority of people don't cum during PIV, if the reason why you don't is down to your body then that's probably something to speak to your doctor about...

My general feeling on this is that as long as you're both satisfied and neither of you are left hanging so to speak then who cares how you climax.

What do you think a doctor is going to do about someone not orgasming from penetration? It’s not a fault or a medical issue… they’re hardly going to offer sex advice and there’s no medication for orgasms.

I don't know i'm not a doctor, but as with most posts you only get a small part of the story so you don't know whether the OP is on any medication for example, she does state that "Other means have had some success but are in no way consistent" so it may be a more general issue like hormone changes, medication, stress, who knows...i'm not suggesting they are going to book her in for a fanny overhaul.
