Should I be concerned about my partner’s colleague viewing my Facebook profile?

Hi guys , need advice so my facebook setting is digital creator meaning i can see who view my profile , even if we arent friends , a girl from my partners work comes up almost every time , a few years back there was deleted messages between them to ? Should i ask her why does she keep viewing my profile or am i just being silly as it a public platform

Guys if u change ur facebook to digital creator , add a story. With in the time the story is put up u can see who has went onto ur profile , try it and u will see

What do the stories contain?

Just general life , some of my kids some of concerts etc ,(nothing exciting ) 😂

I've got a work page for my business and you can see who has viewed your stories but not general posts.

If your FB is open, people can look. There's no point reading much into it, they might be really bored, or think your stories are amazing, or be madly in love with your bf, or be laughing at you. Who cares? If she's thinking about you in her head it's not harming you.

It would be extremely embarrassing to ask her why given you have a public platform.

If you want privacy, change your settings.

I think it’s quite common to click on people’s profiles (for people that use social media regularly). Surely it’s the whole point of social media, especially if you are creating content, isn’t the point that you want people to see it?

Probably means that FB is pushing your posts onto her feed. Like it's supposed to when you decide you count as a digital creator.

If she's then not noticed it autoplaying and a seond story has started, that'll be counted as her viewing it. So she could have dozed off whilst doomscrolling, been distracted, not even paid any attention to the junk ob her feed and you're looking for reasons to have a go?

And you say you are a digital content creator?

If they were sharing messages at some point and she's now showing an interest in his partner's social media, then yes I'd suspect there's more to it. I'd be suspicious too.

Of course as PP says, if you're putting up stories you know anyone can see them, but I understand where you're coming from, it is concerning if a colleague of DH is looking at your FB regularly. There'll be a reason for that.

I'm not sure how you find out what it is without looking completely unhinged though!

Can’t see the issue with this, if do that, it comes up with people yoh may know I often have a look.

I see an old colleague's DIL posts on Facebook, her stories...I remember this Mum bringing the little grandchildren into work. I do see her stories...I'm not remotely stalking her though. Sometimes I heart it, other times I move on. It means nothing to me

If you put stuff on social media, then various randoms will see it. If you don’t want that, stay off of social media. 🤷‍♀️

so not using Facebook for business just purely as social media and updating friends and family… and yet you are a digital creator in settings and can track who views your profile?

And thats a very "grown up" reply, im here for advice not to be put down. I have dyslexia so i stuggle with spelling readinh etc , so please think before you make silly comments like that
