@Nosdacariad@TheThingOnTheIceI’m also on Hinge and don’t pay for any of the apps. Am also on Bumble, OK Cupid, and what I think is called Match in the UK. Resisting the temptation to go on Tinder because I find it’s quantity, not quality. Match gives me a few very local profiles which is better than loads of ones from miles away. I like the OK Cupid format the least I think. The guys who are the most serious about a relationship generally seem to be on Hinge, I find. Bumble is higher turnover and also has lots of cheats. That’s my experience anyway. It seems to vary over regions and countries.

I get many few likes on Hinge as well - it's because it limits likes per day I think. No reflection on you at all!

Well I just had a look at the other app options in the App Store and remembered I’d downloaded Grindr at 2am one morning after having suspicions about my ex 😂 I didn’t find him on there . It was an experience .

Yeah so I've heard!

I have 3 irons at the mo. Mr Bike I recognised as working in the shop where I bought my bike 3 months ago. I recognised his very nice eyes although since moving to WhatsApp he's become a bit pushy. Mr Maths is a teacher, not free for a date for over a week so we'll see how that goes. Also intermittently chatting with a photographer, Mr Click. How one can make a living through that these days I'm not sure, don't want to be nosy though.

My friend saw a post on facebook I think. It was called "Tinder Tuesday" haha. They said they're also starting a Thursday social too which sounds good.
I've also seen a singles padel meet up but I imagine that would be a bit of a sweaty one lol

Haha me three! I've completed Hinge a few times. And Bumble 😂 Although somehow after a few days I get a load of new faces appear. They obviously want us to pay me thinks...

So still no word from ex Mr Smile & it's taken all my willpower to not message him 🙈 I'm sure he'll get in touch eventually but his silence since Sat has made it pretty clear he's not looking to rekindle...

In other news Mr Sport is back with a vengeance today, lots of messages yet still no date. Pretty sure it's never going to happen but he's keeping me amused regardless.

Mr Spa looks attractive in his pics, only lives 45 mins away, his profile says he is a "business owner", I asked about this & he has just bought a warehouse for a new machinery hire business he's setting up.
Has a daughter but she lives with her mum quite a way away so will find out more about this... asks lots of questions about me & seems genuinely interested.

He'd matched with me before I'd paused the apps & I'd given a very short answer over the weekend as was camping & also not really in the mood for chatting but he teased me over it & was able to laugh about how dismissive I sounded (I did apologise lol)

Asks lots of questions puts him in the top 15%. Unless they're sexual.

And a business with assets? Planescrash could take note - it sounds like it might be a real business 😁

My only German Bumble match whj actually wanted to speak to me admitted he wasn't single. I asked him if his wife or girlfriend knew he was on there and he promptly unmatched me!

A walk in quite a nice town midway between us & he's suggested lunch if it's going well.

He originally suggested a walk & lunch in the forest as he thought I lived further away but I actually live right near it so I offered to drive a bit further. But he said if we get on maybe that could be the second date - optimistic lol.

Well Mr Beered was due to call, messaged me at five past the agreed time saying to give him ten min. Did not call in ten min. Then did call.

Planes did that every.single.time.

I didn't answer.

So is Mr Beered just friend zone or was there potential for more?

He was friend because of his beer hobby/pub going/female friend lodger.

Then he snogged me. And I do quite fancy him but I'm not putting up with being dangled again.
