Thoughts on a 45 year old married man going to a lads holiday in Ibiza

What the title says ! he used to go this when he was in early 20s when we met / before children . Always gone away for city breaks and beer festivals , walking holidays with mates .
we go away and have family holidays . But this one is giving me the ick !
We are parents of an 18 year old and 12 year old . He’s not clubber or music fan . But he’s got two mates who like to go and one is getting divorced. Aibu ?

But it's the same as these other cities and destinations that groups of guys flock to for the adult entertainment and sex life isn't it: they have a lot going for them in the way of culture and beauty but thats not why the guys go to them.

OP, I hope he has a great time. It doesn't sound like a 'lads' holiday but a trip to Ibiza with two mates who are male. I am in my fifties and am off on a European weekend with 3 mates. They are all female but it isn't a 'girls' holiday.

My DH used to go on motorcycle holidays with some mates in his 20s and has revived this the last two years in his fifties, now everyone's kids are a bit older, which I think is great. I don't want to go so fab he has some like minded mates to go with. I might feel differently if he didn't support me doing the same or if we couldn't afford a family holiday too but that's not the case.

I don't think my DH is going to cheat because his friend does regardless of the destination. They're not 12. I don't think his friend will either, but if by some aberration he did, my DH would be pretty horrified. If a friend of mine cheated on her partner on holiday I wouldn't follow suit either. Cheating seems to me to be the result of a range of factors but your mate doing it isn't one of them.
