OP posts:

You might have already spoken about this OP in the other thread, but if you suspect he is the one who wrote the offensive word on your car (of course it was him) please get a door cam if you haven’t already and some outdoor CCTV. Don’t take any chances x

lostmywayrightnow · 11/01/2026 07:54

Wishing you all the very best for that next hurdle.

rainbowsinheaven · 11/01/2026 08:17

Thanks for the new thread - if you need anything we’re all behind you!!!

Terfarina · 11/01/2026 10:33

Thank you for starting a new thread. We are all rooting for you!

ime people who self represent tend to do well in the court process, you are knowledgeable and eloquent so in a great position to do so

good luck!

J3001 · 11/01/2026 10:42

Following your journey you are amazingly strong

PullTheBricksDown · 11/01/2026 10:44

Hope you get a good result at the next legal stage for you and your DD. Take care with your safety.

johntorodesfatcheeks · 11/01/2026 10:48

@DontGoChasinWaterfalls would be really
helpful if the judge reserved the case for themselves. This happened to me in my last round of court proceedings and the difference the DJ’s previous involvement and exposure to my ex’s behaviour made was truly impactful: and not in a good way at all for him.

FakeItUntilIMakeIt · 11/01/2026 14:22

Popping in for support. Fingers crossed for your next hearing.

StealthMama · 11/01/2026 14:38

hope DDs anxiety settles a bit soon xx

Cursula · 11/01/2026 15:34

Sending my best wishes to you and your DD

lizzielizard · 11/01/2026 16:42

You and your DD have been on my mind, I've been hoping life is suitable dull for you both. Hope you can feel all the love coming your way from a lot of Mumsnetters - what an incredible mother you are

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 11/01/2026 19:17

Just Supporting!

Lilactimes · 11/01/2026 19:23

Hi OP - been also thinking of you lots and glad to see the new thread. just wanted to say you and your dd are in my thoughts and hope all goes well this week x

WearyAuldWumman · 11/01/2026 19:31

Just sending best wishes.

baytreelane23 · 11/01/2026 22:22

Oh I am so glad you’ve made a second thread, op. I was thinking about you and your dd and wondered how things were, so this is so wonderful.
Her heightened anxiety is understandable. I’m really surprised your ex has completely stayed away; his behaviour over Xmas screamed worryingly psychopath so I’m glad to hear all is quiet.
I have everything crossed for you for the next hearing too! 🥰

Icanflyhigh · 11/01/2026 22:36

Just place marking, thanks for the new thread waterfall, you're amazing x

trustedadult · 12/01/2026 02:53

Same

LadyDanburysHat · 12/01/2026 10:02

Here wishing you the best of luck for the next steps. Your poor DD having to deal with this. I just can't understand how parents weaponise children like this. How does a fathers love for his child not come top here.

Justwonswards · 12/01/2026 12:29

@Icanflyhigh @trustedadult
Suggesting gently that there is a ‘watch this thread’ button that you can press, which will give you updates just as if you posted.

Support for the OP is great, but if it is just to ‘placemark’ there is no need and by placemarking the thread will fill without the OP!

Illjustplayostrich · 12/01/2026 16:29

Hoping that your next hearing gets as sensible a judge and that you won't be forced to hand DD over to that abusive pig anymore x

Fajita123 · 12/01/2026 20:51

@DontGoChasinWaterfalls you're absolutely deserving of the support, for the way you've put your daughter's needs first even at a time that was incredibly difficult for you too. I hope you get a good judge for the next hearing.

rainbowsinheaven · 15/01/2026 18:36

How’s things @DontGoChasinWaterfalls? Do you have a court date yet? Thinking of you x

MedusasHead · 16/01/2026 21:00

Marking my place and sending strength to you @DontGoChasinWaterfalls. I hope you and your DD are holding up okay.
