How old were you and how long of a relationship were you in before you got married?

Out of curiosity

Had been single 2 years before meeting DH. Got engaged after a year or so, married many many years later! Looong engagement (8 or 9 years) before we finally got round to it. Early/mid 30's when we started seeing each other.

Met him at 20, married at 25.

Met 25, married at 25! (Engaged within a few months, married within the year)

Met DH at 18. ,married at 26

I am still happily with him at 66

Met at 22, married at 27, baby at 32. We were living in London, it was the 90s, we were in no rush to settle down and be sensible. Happy days, 28th wedding anniversary coming up!

Met partner at 18, together for 23 years so far, will probably get married before retirement sometime so another 20 years or so. If we are still around by then.

Met at 28, married at 32. Kids started 2 years after.
Like pp we were in London and living abroad and both took 5 years @ Uni then further years to fully qualify.
So it may seem a little later than others

2 dates at school,both moved to a different uni miles apart,met again on a night out age 19, engaged at 21 & married at 23. Heading towards retirement now & I still get excited to see him after work 🦋 💕

50th anniversary coming up.

We met when I was 22, he was 25, we became good friends. Got together a year later, married a year after that. We're now in our early 60s, married 34 years.

Met at 17 (me) and 23 (him). Became friends who were in and out of touch due to life (me at uni, him working in various places as a sportsman).
Got together at 23 and 29.
Engaged a year and a half later
Married at 26 and 31 (married the week before he was 32)
Married 21 years last month.

Met at 30
Married after 6 months
Children after 4 years
Knew marriage was over soon after having children
Fighting for divorce (he's abusive) for the last 4 years :(

Met at 17, engaged at 19, married at 21. Married 31 years so far!

met at 16&17 got together the year after at 17&18 got engaged at 19&20,10years later where still not married but still very much in love with 4 children.

Met at 22. Married at 26. Still married 35 years.

Me 31, DH 30. Engaged after 5 1/2 months. Married 8 1/2 months. Me 32, him still 30.

Over 5 years together now and even stronger.

Met when I was 19. Bought house together at 21. Married at 23.

He was a childhood friend of the brothers of my best friend. I'd see him occasionally, but only knew each other to say hi to.
Bumped into each other on an unplanned night out in the February, we were married eight months later, aged 23, over 30 years ago.

19, we'd been together 2 years.

Crazy looking back but teenagers are crazy qnd it worked out

Met at 20/19, married at 27/26, first child 30/29 and currently pregnant with second. Have been together 13.5 years 😊
