My heart is broken! I woke up the other morning to my husband taking pictures of me on his phone. At first I was just frozen but then I pretended to wake up. He kissed me and said go back to sleep baby and left the room. I didn’t know what to do, so I just pondered it in my heart for a few days. When I asked him about it at first he lied but then he told me the truth. I feel so hurt and sick inside. I have never been alone in my life but I might have to leave him because every time I look at him I feel disgusted. I don’t know if I am being over sensitive because I am looking at the situation through the eyes of someone with childhood trauma.(which he knew about) We have 2 boys and he is an amazing father. They need him in their lives. I am broken!

You will never be able to sleep in his presence again anyway so he must go. There is nowhere you will feel private and unviolated or potentially so. Awful thing to happen to you, I am so sorry.

Shoxfordian · 11/07/2023 21:43

He’s a sexual predator, tell the police, get as far away as possible asap

TheCheeseTray · 11/07/2023 21:44

Phone the police now and get the phone off him. Get him to leave now - have you got a friend you can phone - get the bastard out. He’s a criminal, a pervert with no respect for anyone.

Budikka · 11/07/2023 21:45

If you are concerned, you should seriously call the police.

It might be interesting if you would post here what the police say. It is possible that a crime has been committed.

Just be careful of one thing. This was pointed out to me by a woman who edits a large magazine for women. There are a group of women, a very small percentage of the population, who wait around for new threads to be posted on websites like Mumsnet. They post within minutes of a new thread being posted and their advice usually reflects their own lack of a satisfying personal relationship. So only look and trust any advice given to "leave your husband now!!" a GOOD HOUR after the thread has been posted, to weed out the jealous types who are serial posters within minutes of any thread being newly published.

He won’t tell me the site he posted them on. He said it doesn’t stay forever. I have never been on any sites like that so I am not sure. I am going to ask again. Thanks for your response.

Ask? Demand!

He is an utter bastard and no decent man does this. Take action and do not let him get away with this. He’s a shit husband, a shit father if this is how he treats his wife, and a shit human being.

Backstreets · 11/07/2023 21:46

Some men are honestly so mental I will never understand.
I would put him straight in the fucking bin. Please protect yourself from his depravity and misogyny.

Allthecatseverywhereallatonce · 11/07/2023 21:46

Not a great father figure if he thinks this is ok. It would be divorce for me. How can you trust him? He has betrayed you.

Nevermindkitten · 11/07/2023 21:47

I think you should talk to the police, hope they can advise best how to limit the spread of these images and keep you and your children safe. So sorry this has happened

TooOldForThisNonsense · 11/07/2023 21:47

How vile
hope you can leave him x

I'm afraid that any image on your computer screen can be screenshotted, even if it is deleted from a website.

Call the police and file for divorce.

TheCrystalPalace · 11/07/2023 21:48

He. Did. WHAAAAAAAAAAAT????

And now he "won't" tell you which site he posted them on? Those photos are technically YOUR property. He stole your image without your consent so the least he can damn well do is tell you what he did with them.

Do NOT let this lie.

WesterChick · 11/07/2023 21:49

Following.

Is this illegal?

xyz111 · 11/07/2023 21:49

wutheringkites · 11/07/2023 21:19

He's not an amazing father.

Amazing fathers don't do things like this.

Exactly this!!!

What amazing father would do this to the mother of his children?? No one.

ProtocolDroid · 11/07/2023 21:51

You should involve the police, given he has refused to tell you where the pictures are hosted.

You should also be protecting your children from him - you have two boys, and his behaviour is demonstrating to them that the abuse and humiliation of women is not only acceptable, but part of being what their mother considers to be a ‘good father’. What sort of example is it setting for them if you accept it and stay with him?

A man capable of doing this, and doubling down when challenged, is not fit to be in a relationship or bringing up children.

I would be phoning the police now and reporting him, what he has done is unforgivable

Are you seriously suggesting that someone single who posts early on a thread could only be motivated by jealousy to tell the OP to LTB?

Anyone who takes nudes without consent and posts them online without consent is committing a criminal offence. You don't have to be happily married with 2.4 kids to recognise that.

12RedRoses · 11/07/2023 21:53

Seriously I would call the police this evening. He isn’t bothered you know and worse could be planned or happening. At the very least tell a friend or relative in real life and that you are concerned. It’s his shame and guilt not yours, don’t hide it for him.

NotaCoolMum · 11/07/2023 21:53

Oh my God!! The POLICE will find out where the dirty bastard posted the photos! So sorry OP but PLEASE ring the police. This is NOT YOUR DOING- it is HIS FAULT!

SoSadForCav · 11/07/2023 21:53

DontBeSillyBridget · 11/07/2023 21:24

Sleeping naked? Go back to sleep baby? Two kids? 🤔

What's your point?

many of us sleep naked, have children & partners that would say 'go back to sleep' if they were getting up for the kids.

SwordToFlamethrower · 11/07/2023 21:53

What else has he done? I suspect he has form! Check his Internet search history! Get him out of your house!
He is a dangerous sex predator. What he did is a serious crime.

VitoCorleoneOfMNMafia · 11/07/2023 21:54

It's a criminal offence https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2015/2/section/33/enacted

FOTTFSOFTFOASM · 11/07/2023 21:54

"Baby" 🤮🤮🤮

An adult calling another adult "baby" is grounds enough for eternal ick.

Taking photos of someone without their consent and posting them on the internet is grounds for divorce. I'd say it was LTB terrain even if you were fully clothed. I would strangle anyone who put photos of me online, even in my dog-walking gear.

YouJustDoYou · 11/07/2023 21:54

Fucking. MEN. AGAIN.

cracktheshutters · 11/07/2023 21:54

What he has done is 100% illegal, you didn’t consent to photos being taken or being posted online. Could he have taken photos of the kids? Call the police, run and don’t look back
