Are all guys cheats given the opportunity?! Rant.

I had to go away for a conference last week where various offices from across the country got together for a party. Around 100 people attended with the average ages being around 24-40. Let's say it was 50 men and 50 women.... Most of the men there were married/children/serious relationships. There was lots of drink involved. 2 different men tried it on with me at various stages of the evening. A 40 year old with a wife (one child and his wife is expecting in a few weeks), and 27 year old who I've just Facebook stalked and he's in a 10 year relationship.

I mean this isn't all men. It's not even 10% of the crowd. But for some reason it's really got my back up.... rant over.

In my experience, yes. A ridiculously large amount would sleep with children if they weren't to be found out (there was a study recently) so cheating with someone would be nothing to most if so many would rape.

Not always single women, 2 friend's husbands were on grindr (!) and one was paying for prostitutes...

Sadly this is my experiences at work events too, from big conferences like you describe to minor work evenings out. Married men who gave every impression of being good partners and happily married trying it on. Quite depressing (but not saying it's all men).

Absolutely hate these types of threads , always making out that all men are cheats, bullies, sex pests etc.

I actually don't think it is job specific, I've known teachers, Dr's and Vets who have cheated. It's just opportunity. I could never date a sales guy; too many conferences away from home and estate agents are notorious for using people's houses.

I'm in the same boat and stuck in a cycle of googling, searching MN, obsessing back to my past about the ridiculous amount of men who've either been with me or tried to be with me with weddings, wives, kids in the mix, and then me behaving irl like everything is fixed.

Yup, same. Though the women were just as bad, some were worse.
