What do you find attractive?

Light hearted question - a male friend just told me that he can get turned on just by hearing his girlfriend’s voice on the phone (in a normal conversation rather than anything sexy!)

This surprised me and led me to wonder if this was a common thing? What do you find attractive in someone apart from the obvious?

Things about my OH I find attractive - tattoos, green eyes, his shoulders, that I find him hilarious, how good he is with DS, that he isn’t afraid to cry, how intelligent he is and how well he can hold a conversation on pretty much any topic.

In general I always find that tattoos, a nice mouth (lips and teeth) and a good sense of humour are the things that I notice first attract me to somebody!

Good tattoos and if they’re covered in them even better.

Guys who get their hair done on the regular (short on the sides and long on top!)

Strong arms - phew

Guys who like the same music and films as me will get an automatic like as well haha

Smell is a big one for me. I was seeing a bloke at work a few years ago and we could both always smell where the other had been in the office. Catching a whiff of him on the stairs or in a private office drove me crazy 😄.

I really like that my DP can give very confident answers off the bat. He never sounds stumped or does any 'ummmm-ing' when there's something important or work related. He's great at interviews etc - the complete opposite of me. It's a trait i'd love to have myself.

Eyes, smile, smell

Most of all though sense of humour - if we laugh at the same things it's a big turn on.

And if they have the eyes, smile and smell as well that's me hooked

Stocky build but not podgy.
Relatively short and muscular limbs.
Blue eyes
Freckles
Dark hair
Rough round the edges but witty.
Noticeable bulge (sorry)

This is not a brag, and I'm not sure what got the engine going, but my ex used to get turned on by my voice, which then went to saucy talk and yea....

As for me, it's personality, openmindness, being saucy to different activities ect, yes body shape and face, to a degree, but the personality ect matters more overall.

Oh yes! I love DH’s voice, it’s a lovely pitch and he’s got quite a posh accent too and it just makes me feel giddy.
I also love when he’s lying in bed or sitting back with his hands behind his head relaxing as he has lovely arms, he’s got the most beautiful green/hazel eyes I’ve ever seen and the most amazing curly auburn hair which DD1 has inherited.

Its a bit pathetic and cliché but I don’t really ‘see’ others since him, even if he has gotten older and his body shape has changed (we both have!) I still get those butterflies when I remember he’s waiting for me at home.
