to bang or not to bang

Okay divorced 41 year old here. I've got to talking with a much younger guy (24) and he's incredibly flirty. Not my usual type at all but the physical attraction is off the scale. I impulsively agreed when asked for my number and we are now texting a lot, is this a terrible idea to bang this guy? Would be the first time with a new guy in 20 years

Oh just go for it.

If you’re feeling it and he’s feeling it and you’re not expecting him to be the Next Love Of Your Life because of it, what have you got to lose.

The flirty stuff from the off tells me he's not wanting anything more than a shag anyway so if you're okay with that..

haismfh · 12/02/2022 13:15

As long as you know it's just for a shag.
Lots of men that age want to shag older women. I was on OLD for a while and got no interest from men my own age, but non-stop younger men, chatting and flirting and wanting sex.
And I'm interested in something more serious so didn't do anything with any of them and came of OLD.

ravenmum · 12/02/2022 13:18

Does he realise what age you are?

ValleyO · 12/02/2022 13:20

Bang? Seriously?

ravenmum · 12/02/2022 13:20

Sounds more like "be"? 😂

ShimmeringSheen · 12/02/2022 13:20

Does he know you are 41 @UrsLW81 and is he okay with that? If so, and you both want to have a shag, why not? How long has it been since you last had a bang? Might be good to let out some frustration if it's been a while.

Motnight · 12/02/2022 13:21

Can imagine the responses if a man used this language

Eminybob · 12/02/2022 13:21

YABU to use the word bang

AAAAAGHH · 12/02/2022 13:22

Yuk at Bang and yep agree a bloke posting this would have his arse handed to him Hmm

ravenmum · 12/02/2022 13:24

Can't imagine a bloke asking this question at all...

BlondeWidow · 12/02/2022 13:24

Eugh such a vile lack of class Hmm

GrumpyTerrier · 12/02/2022 13:48

Yeah just do it, why not if you are both keen.

buddylicious · 12/02/2022 13:54

Bang? Are you a 14 year old boy?

GreggsDoVitalWork · 12/02/2022 14:10

YABU for “bang” but forgiven as sounds like you e been out the game for a while.

But if you want to, go for it.

Iwanttenofthose · 12/02/2022 14:11

Do itttttt

(So I can live vicariously through you)

PotatoGoblins · 12/02/2022 14:14

Do it if the mutual attraction is there - where’s the harm?!
Age gaps are only an issue if you let them be an issue. I’m 27, and the guy I’m seeing is 42. Not been a problem for us

DonnyBurrito · 12/02/2022 14:17

Lol at all the pearl clutching over the word bang. I had a 21 year old friend who met his now long term girlfriend who was in her 40s at the time, they've been together for over 10 years now. The sex was/is the best they'd both ever had, from all accounts.

PatsyJStone · 12/02/2022 14:24

Unless there’s any chance at all he’s under 18/16, then I really don’t know why people are suggesting you need to make sure he knows your age. Two consenting people can bang if they want.

Have fun!

Calm down Hyacinth, take off your Judgy Crown.
Lifeslooser · 12/02/2022 14:27

Bang, really?

Go for it.
If a man used this language though he would get floored for it.
Quite an age gap too.

SalsaLove · 12/02/2022 14:29

Yes, do go on and make sweet love to the chap.

GreyTS · 12/02/2022 14:31

Go for it! Fuck classy 🙄 honestly does it make people feel good to put others down? I did the same at 41 when I left my husband, it was awesome! He was so into me, picked my self esteem right up off the floor

ShimmeringSheen · 12/02/2022 14:46

How old was the guy you shagged?
IsItTooHotInHere · 12/02/2022 16:32

How very romantic............ if a bloke said he'd like to "bang" you, would that be a compliment?!

KylieKoKo · 12/02/2022 16:32

Where as the use of an eyeroll emoji just exudes sophistication ...
