Okay divorced 41 year old here. I've got to talking with a much younger guy (24) and he's incredibly flirty. Not my usual type at all but the physical attraction is off the scale. I impulsively agreed when asked for my number and we are now texting a lot, is this a terrible idea to bang this guy? Would be the first time with a new guy in 20 years

OP posts:

I’m good with bang - no judgement here. It clearly demarcates casual sex from hearts and flowers romance.

And no judgement either if OP is drinking lager in fishnets. MN can be an extremely unpleasant place.

@burnthur5t

Most young men want to have sex with a much older woman, it's one thing to tick off the list

No harm in it just go in to it thinking that it may just be a one time thing

I don't think that's true at all ! Most young men want to have sex with young women - genetically programmed that way for best chance to pass on genes..
5128gap · 12/02/2022 20:03

I don't know about most young men wanting a much older woman, but at 52 my friends and I could have a different 20s man everytime we go out if we were so inclined, so certainly loads of them do. There's often a choice too, with them competing to tell us whose the fittest, whose got the best job, the nicest car, their own flat. Bless. I don't think they're thinking of passing on their genes to be honest.

Alonelonelylonersbadidea · 12/02/2022 20:27

Well if you were last doing this 20 years ago then using the word bang seems reasonableness also say the words cool and awesome more than is reasonable.

As Long as you won't get emotionally involved with someone who just wants a 'bang' then go for it.

Etinoxaurus · 12/02/2022 20:36

tada!!

StrongSunglasses · 12/02/2022 20:41

Get in there op!

Gotohenry · 12/02/2022 20:44

Bang away OP! It’s good for the soul 😉

Lollypop701 · 12/02/2022 20:45

@MistOverTheDowns

😂 seriously!!!! O I really hope you have a fag hanging out of your mouth and a can of special brew wearing a basque and having a bloody good bang! We are here for a good time not a long time, so have fun.

Palmfrond · 12/02/2022 20:48

Yes, bang, and I hope you both use Austin Powers voices while doing it;
You; “Do you want to bang, baby?”
Him; “Yeeeah, baby!”

cinci · 12/02/2022 20:48

@Mango101

I've asked my OH and I do believe it's true that men like middle aged women. Why wouldn't they? Still attractive, sexually experienced- what wouldn't they like?

Settle down younger typically, sex absolutely would still bang a woman 10+ years older

23Elfie · 12/02/2022 20:49

Sitting here eye rolling at those who can't deal with the word 'bang'.
Would fuck and chuck be better for you all?

OP, sod the age gap, go and bang away and enjoy it!

pinkyredrose · 12/02/2022 20:51

You sound emotionally the same age so go ahead!

Woahthehorsey · 12/02/2022 21:08

@IsItTooHotInHere

How very romantic............ if a bloke said he'd like to "bang" you, would that be a compliment?!
Jeez, good sex has fuck all to do with romance! And yeah, a bloke wanting to bang me is a compliment if I also want to bang him!
Quantity5 · 12/02/2022 21:14

Bang away
Honestly what fun and why not.

ImWearingReallyJudgyPants · 12/02/2022 21:15

Just no, on every possible count.

Having sex with a boy of that age would be like having sex with one of my sons or one of his friends.

No bloody way.

And "bang" is very coarse. As PP have said, a man would (rightly) not get away with saying this about a woman. Especially not one who would be young enough to be his daughter.

Blushingm · 12/02/2022 22:02

Go for it! I'm 43 and having good sex with someone who is 25

onreee · 12/02/2022 22:26

Bang! Bang! Bang!💥

Some of you need to have a bleeding day off, its not everyday that you must be offended by everything.

buddylicious · 12/02/2022 22:34

If a man came on here talking about wanting to bang a woman then people would find this very disrespectful.

Therefore it's the same the other way round!

Yep, some younger men will like sex with older women as they feel older women are more confident, self assured,, know what want in bed etc.
onreee · 12/02/2022 22:37

Nobody cares. If a man I found sexually attractive wanted to bang me id be perfectly happy, same if he used an other euphemism for sex.

This whole thread disproves the idea that only men use bang to talk about women. But I'd love to know what phrases for sex are acceptable none of course.

onreee · 12/02/2022 22:37

In response to @buddylicious

It's slang

MrsTerryPratchett · 12/02/2022 22:43

Nope. Eggs are expensive, sperm is cheap. Young men are genetically programmed to shag everywhere. Spread it around, you have billions of them. At least that's what evolution is expecting.

Hdhr8jsj · 12/02/2022 23:00

I found myself single at 42 and had loads of offeres from much younger guys. I couldn't go younger than 30 or they would only be 5 years older than my son and it really freaked me out !

But you do you.

It might be like that if OP had children of that age.
Palmfrond · 12/02/2022 23:14

And IMO bang is not particularly coarse, just rather comically dated.
