I'd rather deprive him of his knob.

You never know, Spook. Depriving someone of their control over those they regard as their property can have a strangely deflating effect on them. By being strong and taking back control, you might be effectively castrating him .

Have had an idea. Shall I ask DH if he wants to come to Ibiza for Christmas?? Just go for it-for sake of boys and make him realise what he's missing??? MAD MAD MAD I know. But am strong enough to handle it now.

PeckaRollover · 14/11/2004 12:03

AGAGAGAGHGAHGAHGHAGHAHAHAH What do you MEAN you left it in a taxi? Have you rung the taxi company? Have they got it?

That is my idea of hell

fairyfly · 14/11/2004 12:04

No don't ask him, you don't need that kind of demotion and he doesn't deserve your company

spook · 14/11/2004 12:12

Oh FF. Am all excited about it now!!
Pecka-where the fuck have you been all morning!!!!
Taxi driver just this second delivered my phone. Phew.

OP posts:
Freckle · 14/11/2004 12:14

Don't you think his having to spend Christmas in another country from his family is a better way of showing him what he is missing?

Don't take him. He would spoil your Christmas and still wouldn't come home (if that's what you are hoping). He'll learn soon enough what treasures he has discarded for a tarnished bauble.

spook · 14/11/2004 12:16

I don't know!!! We wouldn't be going to Ibiza on our own TBH. My family won't be there and it would just be me and the boys.

OP posts:
JanH · 14/11/2004 12:17

The taxi driver delivered your phone?

Blimey. Round here if you leave something in a taxi it's lorst and gorn forever.

I agree with FF and Freckle, spook . You're only setting yourself up for another knock-back...

fairyfly · 14/11/2004 12:17

well i have been split up for over a year now and one thing i have learnt is that looking out for him and getting him involved gives him a severe case of i have my cake and can eat it syndrome. the biggest effect i have on him is when i behave like he doesn't exist and get on with my life, what you cant have you want

Freckle · 14/11/2004 12:18

Can't you go to your family rather than Ibiza? Family Christmasses are just what you need now - with your family, not d-t-p.

spook · 14/11/2004 12:20

I understand EVERYTHING you're saying and OFCOURSE you're all right.
But-
1/ Fantastic for boys
2/My beauty, scintillating wit, fantastic cooking and general overall gorgeousness would shine through
3/ Imagine how much it would PISS HER OFF!!!!!!!

OP posts:
spook · 14/11/2004 12:21

OMIGOD. I amnow at the point where I think it's worth doing just because of her face when he tells her. FANBLOODYTASTIC!!!! To be a fly on the wall for that conversation.
Have been thinking how I can finally get my revenge and this could JUST BE IT!!!!

OP posts:
fairyfly · 14/11/2004 12:24

it will piss you off more, you will hear him on the phone to her, she will become even more protective over him, you will get upset when he doesn't behave as you imagined, or you will get angry at the audacity of this man spending christmas with you when he is sleeping with someone else, you will get used to him being around and he will leave after and break your heart, you don't win him over by cooking, you do nothing it is him who should be bending over backwards, you will have a shit january, not that fantastic for boys, boys just want you happy.

Freckle · 14/11/2004 12:30

What if he says no? What if he wants to bring her with him? What if you have the most fantastic Christmas and he then goes back to her? Talk about having his cake and eating it. You're even prepared to put it in a fancy box for him.

spook · 14/11/2004 12:33

I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW. You are so so right ggirls but.......
There is NO WAY on earth he would be bringing her with him. I know that.Wouldn't even enter his head. I don't think it would make her more protective-she is just a pathetic airheaded kid. Would just PISS HER OFF.
And so what if he just went straigt back to her. I am so much stronger. He's with her now.I anticipate he'll be with her in January. He's going to have plenty of Christmases withoiut his boys that's for sure!!!
