That has made me lol!! Never in my life have I had the contol to mutter wnaker under my breath. If it had to be said it had to be said loud. You are amazing anorak. And the vision of you smiling sweetly whilst holding a kitchen knife behind your back has cheered me up enormously.

spook · 13/11/2004 15:12

God I have just made such a TWAT of myself. Was on the beach-beautiful beautiful day up here. The smooth sand was just waiting to be written in so did a huge heart with mine and knobheads name in. Turned round and there is stood one of the mums from school who knows he's gone.
I seriously think I am mentally unstable. Anyone with a bunny out there I can boil??

What - you wrote "spook" and "knobhead"???

(Sigh - wish you had. Oh well. I'll fetch you a bunny then!)

JanH · 13/11/2004 15:15

Iron in the chocolate.

Freckle · 13/11/2004 15:20

Oh no, not a bunny! Get an effigy of him and her and boil those instead .

Did you say anything to the other mum? Like "I'm just doing this so that I can jump all over it with poo on my shoes"??

Anyway, what do you care of her opinion?

Chin up.

spook · 13/11/2004 15:21

Thanks W&R. Am making copious notes for my solicitor next week. I am not claiming any benefits. Never occured to me. The overdraft unfortunately is my account. We haven't had a joint one for an age (mmm not sure why!!)
JanH-PMSL at Spook and Knobhead in a big heart. Would have had to take a photo of that one for you all!!!

The house doesn't have to be signed over to one or another to be sold. If you both agree to the sale, then it will proceed on the basis that you will both sign the requisite documents. If the final settlement envisages the sale of the house and he then proves difficult (i.e. refuses to sign documents), the court can order him to sign or the court can sign them on his behalf if he fails to comply with the order.

anorak · 13/11/2004 15:50

Janh you are a one . I was telling dh about your Thursday antics and he thinks you are a right nutter!

Lovely spook, isn't it great that wigandrobe is now on the scene with all this fabulous advice. Don't you wish she was your brief? Sounds like she would wipe the floor with him.

Sorry, W&R. I don't understand your statement that Spook's dh could counter under the Administration of Justice Act. For courts to deal with the sale of property within divorce proceedings is perfectly normal. Many spouses who don't like what the court has ordered try to thwart the order by failing to cooperate. The courts are perfectly experienced in dealing with such tactics and will ensure the sale goes through as they have the authority to sign on behalf of a party who refuses to comply with an order.

Or were you referring to something else?

spook · 13/11/2004 17:12

WOW! Its like LA Law on my very own thread.D'you know how much my solicitor charges for this sort of advice (well I'm sure you do!!!
You are both SUPERSTARS!!

OP posts:
Freckle · 13/11/2004 17:14

LOL! Wouldn't mind looking like Susan Dey and getting to bed that hunk she used to hang around with .

spook · 13/11/2004 17:15

I think we are showing our age here Freckle (was more of a Dallas girl m'self actually)

OP posts:
Freckle · 13/11/2004 17:18

Oh gosh, yes. Must be more careful about what I let slip! There are probably a few people on this thread who are wondering what the hell we are on about.

Didn't really get into Dallas - or Dynasty come to that. LA Law was a must though, although it probably bore no resemblance to any law firm in any country anywhere.

Agree absolutely. I think from everything said on here Spook should be well prepared for any move d-t-p might make and her solicitor should be able to counter said move instantly!

spook · 13/11/2004 18:43

Oh girls-I am not even prepared for a night out let alone a sticky divorce. But with you 2 on my side how can I fail
here is a big hug for you both {{{{{{{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
