New thread. Can’t believe I’ve got to three.

It’s a good chance I think that they’ll stick together, happy or not. They’ve given away absolutely everything (although she still sees her children) so they do need each other don’t they.

I have my fingers crossed for the marriage certificate tomorrow. I really believe he thinks I wouldn’t go ahead with it. I also think it might prompt a flurry of messages asking what he’s supposed to do. Bloody pay a solicitor that’s what you can do.

I think of the two of us I will come out the other side better than him. I have the support of his family, all the DC, and you wonderful women. He has her and that’s it. I don’t know about her family and I’m sure as can be that the pair of them have created yet another lie as the backstory to how they met. Can’t exactly tell the truth can they. ANC in a few short years he’ll be 70. Yuk.

It still doesn’t feel like I’ll be better off at the end but I’m hoping that feeling will come.

If anyone knows how to link this thread to the old one can you let me know please?

She’s left her husband and children too. I’d be utterly sickened if she were my daughter. They’ll need to concoct yet another lie, this time about how they met. Everything is a lie isn’t it.

No doubt they'll both be spinning a tale of a 'crazy, vindictive, abusive ex' who 'stole the children'. And how they 'rescued each other'. 🤮

But I think the truth is always 'known' eventually, even if people pay lip service to the couple.

I was wondering the same thing. If it makes that whoopee cushion sound does one refer to it as a dick queef?

And more important....how does the air get IN his dick to begin with?

Now I’m picturing him saying “Deirdre! Heeeeelp!!! I’ve sprung a leak!!!” as he flies around the ceiling with his bum in the air and his willy blurts out all the air in his body in one long, continuous farting noise - proving us correct all along. He really is a useless sack of skin.

Don’t be silly - those willy comments are hilarious. Not upsetting at all. It’s true that there’s a pump thing between the balls that he presses to get it up, then there’s also a deflate button on the pump too, to make it go down. Oh the romance!

A few weeks ago reading stuff like that would’ve hurt, like you were laughing at me. But now I think fuck it, that’s how it is for them now. I think Mr NM has something to do with it. He’s like a proper person I can actually talk to, instead of a troglodyte…

I’ve completely stopped the antidepressants and I feel absolutely no different. The more I think about it the more I think I was having some kind of grief reaction, not a depression. The OW apparently takes them too, which is weird considering their glorious relationship….

I don’t know. Tonight I think I could take on the world. Tomorrow I might be back in my little pit of despair. I’m enjoying the good bits as they happen…

DD3 moves out for good on Friday so there may be some packing getting started today. She had her colonoscopy today so had been eating non-stop since I brought her home! I’m convinced they’ll say it’s Crohns. But we’ll see.

Ready to march on tomorrow with me?

I think some GPs are a bit quick on the draw with anti depressants sometimes. Not knocking them, it’s a very stressful massively responsible job with very little time to talk to their patients so they obviously want to err on the side of caution. Anti depressants can be a life saver for some so I get it. They’re definitely not the cover-all drug though, and time and resources pressures mean individuals don’t get the counselling or talking-time they need. Glad you’ve not been left with withdrawal problems, that can be horrible.
Hope your daughter’s move goes well and her health problems get sorted.
If OW is on anti depressants it would appear that ‘Twu wub’ and a ‘beautiful home’ aren’t exactly floating her boat. Maybe the reality of what they’ve both done has proved a bit too much and the shame and guilt are bubbling to the surface. Even a two year old knows when they’ve done wrong and the lies adults tell themselves to justify wrongdoing wear thin eventually. The exhausting internal battle with lies and weak justifications versus conscience, reality and the cold hard truth is a real recipe for depression if ever I saw one.
You feel like you can take on the world because your moral compass, integrity and reality all align with a truthful, honest existence. You look on the mirror and see a decent woman you can respect. God only knows what they see in the mirror every morning. I shudder to think. On we march, Legs. X

As for New Man, you do what you want whenever it feels right to you. You're a free agent and you don't owe anyone anything.

Best of luck to DD3 with her move and it is lovely news that you've been able to stop the anti-depressants with no ill-effects.
