Can’t believe it, but here we are on Thread 5!

Thread 4 here

Just back from a 4.5 mile run - bit cold this morning! I’ve sea monkeys growing in the kitchen, soaps hardening in the bathroom, and the carpets are full of glitter. They had a great weekend!

The thumb also seems to be improving. Phew.

All on today to prep for tomorrow’s meeting with Geller. He really does seem broken. But I will not waiver.

Hope everyone had a good weekend and all health ailments are on the mend. Time to slap on some moisturiser - caught the sun this weekend - but look much better for it!

Clearly Geller does have talent/skill after-all - with almost no effort he can become more annoying than a pound of mosquitos!

Letting the lawyers sort this out sounds a good idea. He seems to be using negotiations with you as a great opportunity for exercising his talent.

This is not healthy for you and it isn't aiding your recovery.

Being able to bat this stuff away with 'contact my SHL about it' sounds much better.

Newestname001 · 24/05/2021 15:17

An MN-group patio is a good idea, but "feed" for a new tree might be better? Do you have room in your garden for a large flowering tree with good, deep roots, which would benefit?

Sorry - May be a touch macabre, but thought that, at least this way, Geller would be of some use...🌹

PanamaPattie · 24/05/2021 15:26

Make sure the patio is very deep so that you can pack the detritus in a vertical fashion. I’ve been advised that horizontal packing is not so space efficient.

ThePluckOfTheCoward · 24/05/2021 18:17

Sign me up for the Mumsnet Patio brigade too. I've got all me own tools, and can bring plenty of quick drying cement. 😉

Honestly just take Gellar to court and get everything you can. A clean break from this unscrupulous piece of shit sounds like the best plan.

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 24/05/2021 18:27

Actually I'm just about to build a base for my shed on my allotment. That could work 😉

RandomMess · 24/05/2021 19:46

We need to have a retaining wall built with ridiculously deep foundations..,

CloverHilla · 24/05/2021 19:52

Sorry you're having to deal with all this shit! I agree with letting the lawyers deal with it (or the very attractive patio solution 😉)

Justilou1 · 24/05/2021 20:36

I like the tree idea, too... but I feel it could only ever be a lemon tree. You know.... When life gives you lemons?

RandomMess · 24/05/2021 20:47

@Justilou1 😂😂😂

longtompot · 24/05/2021 21:36

I have read you should always bury a dead animal above where you bury a body. Throws the scent hounds off the trail Wink

SpringCrocus · 24/05/2021 21:39

I have a lot of heavy machinery. Mini Diggers, Tractors, JCBs. And I am an expert at using them.
Good at patios!

Justilou1 · 24/05/2021 22:08

I always said that we had your back @StuckInPollyannaMode

If its any help I have pigs......

Justilou1 · 25/05/2021 07:16

Gets better... Mumsnet Mafiosa! (The Godmothers!)

Pashazade · 25/05/2021 09:05

Oh the pigs are a good idea, they are amazing at destroying evidence.

pointythings · 25/05/2021 09:53

This is all getting a bit Hannibal Season 3 now.

Is that you Breda McQueen?
ThePluckOfTheCoward · 25/05/2021 10:54

Pigs you say. Efficient and environmentally friendly.

BrightYellowDaffodil · 25/05/2021 11:34

I was going to recommend pigs, too. They eat everything. Failing that, the company recommended upthread - I like that they offer 'creative solutions' and deep cleaning...

I've been following your threads for a while now Polly, and Geller really does not seem to get it, does he? You've given him enough chances; I'd hand his latest missive over to SHL and let the Courts deal with him.

RandomMess · 25/05/2021 12:11

This thread is why the black and white version of "Lord of the Flies" watched alone aged 7 left me deeply disturbed!!

CoolCatTaco · 25/05/2021 12:21

It feels quite uncomfortable and disrespectful now and not sure how it would help Polly?

SpringCrocus · 25/05/2021 12:48

We are joking! You know, humour?

LannieDuck · 25/05/2021 13:11

I agree with CoolCat, I'm finding the recent comments quite uncomfortable.

pointythings · 25/05/2021 13:26

It's a bit of black humour. Having seen so many of my friends utterly shafted financially by their husbands in divorce, I can't find it in me to feel bad about a few patio jokes.
