Met in November 2018, engaged in Feb 2019, married in Feb 2020.

letsnotscaretheneighbours · 14/12/2020 19:33

Well. Not sure how this works for us because we were together for 3 years in our late teens/early twenties. Second time we got together we got married 12 months after we got together and have been married 2 years. We are happy, and hope to have many more happy years.

jellybe · 14/12/2020 19:34

Engaged after one year. Married 9 months after that. Been married almost 15 years.

ChristmasArmadillo · 14/12/2020 19:35

Two weeks. Grin I’d be appalled if I heard of someone else doing the same but we knew we knew. That was ten-ish years ago and no regrets.

Suzi888 · 14/12/2020 19:36

Engaged after 5, married within the year and still married 5 years later.

TomorrowsPrincess · 14/12/2020 19:36

Hopefully arranging the wedding for 2022 and then a blissful happy ever after till we are old and senile together 😂🤣😁

AngelonTopoftheTree · 14/12/2020 19:40

Engaged after 2.5years, married almost 2 years later. Still married 20 years later.
What this thread tells me is that there's no such thing as normal; everything from 2 days to 10+years. Just go with what's right for you.

itsme · 14/12/2020 19:41

Engaged after 6 months, married 14 months after that. Been married 2 months now. We just knew we are both mid 30s. People said we rushed it but we just knew. I plan on annoying him for the next 50+ years.

Cotswoldmama · 14/12/2020 20:42

After 9 years, married for 9 years now. I think it depends a lot on age I was nearly 18 when we first started going out.

Sassandfaff1 · 14/12/2020 21:32

Met him when he was 20 and I was 28 with a 2 yr old. Looking forward to a fling.....

Had twins and a singleton at 8yr and 9 yr mark. Engaged at 15 yr mark, married 6 months later. Married 3 yrs in march.

We joke that we had to make sure...
