How did you meet your DH/DP?

Just curious to see where people met up.

With me and mine it was through friends. I gave it a go because he made me laugh and made me feel i could be myself.

pissed at christmas party had totally given up on meeting anyone decent. he went home for christmas i went out on more do's met 3 other guys christmas snogs.
They all phoned to arrange another date infront of him not that i ever played games but if i'd been trying to make him jealous.

well the rest is history. married 7 years 2 kids later how did that happen

He was stoned. I was at the party with bloke who was a mate. Lager was spilt. DH offered to sit on the wet patch so I didn't have to. He drove me home in his mate's huge vintage rover car with spare wheel on the side and running board, leather seats and everything.

And he rang me back the next day but I played cool.

He was my dads new best mate just in process of splitting up with wife i was a single mum of one. He popped round for a cup of tea on the wednesday, slept over for the first time friday and moved in on the monday. Thst was feb 2004 , Elana-Rose was born 29.3.05 and dd3 is due any day!! We were quick workers and the 18 year age gap didnt put us off )

in the street, in a city 50miles away from where we lived. i spotted him and loudly told my friend he was the most gorgeous man i'd ever seen, DH heard me, we got talking in the train station and agreed to meet the next night at a club. Been together since then- 9 years this year.

We were the last two left at a works Christmas lunch, phoned my friend and told her I wasn't going round to see her that night and went out with him instead. I had my own flat and he moved in about 2 months later. That was 14 years ago this Christmas, we will be married for 11 years this November and have dd (9) and ds who will be 4 in December.

In an italian restaurant in liverpool. He was the waitor and I though he was a scouser pretending to be italian, turns out he was/is Italian !! We went on a date, moved in together 4 months later, married a year later, moved to his homeland 6 years ago !!!
