sorry cant do links but go to fig leaves and under adhesive bra bit 4 to chose from

sugar34plum · 04/10/2007 11:39

lol no me thick just remembered them in blue water and wondered if they would hold up bigger boobies!

Paddlechick666 · 04/10/2007 11:54

thanks gals, will check it out.

am a bit worried about boobs popping out tho so don't want that to happen again!

it was bad enough at a gay 40th birthday party (in a Venetian Palace altho the boob came out in the gondola on the way there), never mind at a works do!

Baffy · 04/10/2007 11:56

lol at boob came out in the gondola!

take up straps as much as poss and get those stick-on boob/bra thingies and you'll be sorted!

Paddlechick666 · 04/10/2007 12:00

can't take the straps up at all, they're too skinny and integral to the neckline so can't be re-stitched.

will just have to experiment i guess!

TimeForMe · 04/10/2007 12:00

But, just in case, get yourself some nipple tassles and turn an embarrassing flash into a bit of fun!

Tanee58 · 04/10/2007 13:47

Afternoon all, don't we seem more cheery with the sun shining.

Second the idea of a meetup, even though I've only been on MN a few months. Would be fun to put faces to you all (though dd, so wise at age 15, is convinced you're all dirty old men out to have your wicked way with me!.

Or maybe I'm a dirty old man???

Hope Baffy's having a great last day.

PC, shame about the bra idea. I think your friend is too behind the times. Underwear is outwear. Look at Vivienne Westwood. Who's have thought corsets would become a fashion item? I still think a bra in a nice, deep coloured fabric (not bright red) would look alluring and sexy, not slutty. What about a deep green, aubergine, purple etc?

Really sorry to hear about the flat. You know, it may turn out for the best in the end, with a nicer one turning up. It worked that way for us.

And well done for not texting h. Keep up the good work.

DD and I went to see Atonement last night. Perhaps the most visually gorgeous film I've seen in ages, and even dd, who says she has a heart of stone, was almost sniffing at the end. DP couldn't come with us, but I felt very loving and carpe diem-ish when we went home, so we both had smiles on our faces this morning . Had a long talk about how our first year of living together has gone, and how we do love each other despite the difficult six months we had this year. Hoping for a nice romantic weekend a deaux as dd's visiting her father for the first time in ages.

Baffy · 04/10/2007 13:54

hi tanee

having a lovely last day

my (old) boss was really impressed at the handover file I did and was so grateful how hard I've worked given everything that I've been through recently. she really made me feel proud of how well I've done.

they just took me out for a lovely lunch. and we have a big night out planned next friday - hotels booked and everything!

feeling a bit wistful now... (probably the large glass of wine at lunch!)

agree with you Tanee about pc getting a lovely bra and not caring if it shows - aren't your shoes and coat moss/bottle green? (might have remembered that wrong!). get underwear and few nice accessories to match. and then surely it's better that someone sees a little bit of a sexy bra than a full on boob!

Baffy · 04/10/2007 13:56

p.s. Tanee we are all dirty old men!!

My mum thinks that too! Are you on facebook? A few of us are. You can see who we really are then!
(Although I'm already lost with who's who and which RL name is which...)

Paddlechick666 · 04/10/2007 14:05

i like the idea of the green or purple bra too and yes the shoes/coat are green.

don't think M&S in Richmond is going to much up to the job of providing such a thing tho

baffy, glad you're having such a good send off. i've got tomorrow off too (unexpectedly), fancy zooming down with ds and helping me with my bra

no further word from H......

Tanee, deffo get onto Facebook and you'll see just how dirty and old and masculine we are

TFM, rotflmao at tassles!!!!

ps: Lily's DH has been in touch asking if he can do anything wrt to flat and so on.
i have made a veiled thread to withdraw from the sale if buyer doesn't get her finger out and exchange. don't want my bluff called tho as really don't want to move back into the one i'm selling. just want rid of it and to start afresh.
if this flat isn't meant to be then it means something nicer is out there for me as you say.

contentiouscat · 04/10/2007 14:07

Paddlechick, next have these

www.next.co.uk/shopping/women/lingerie/22/6

You can get the double sided tape stuff to stop the dress dropping down, sorry I dont know where you get it

Lillybubble - good to see you on here, I wondered how you were getting on. I know I chatted to you on the other thread at the time I was using a different name and cant remember what it was now LOL

Baffy you are bound to feel a bit unsettled on your last day but just think how much more of your day you are getting back rather than travelling. Give it a few weeks once you are settled into your new job and you will wonder why you didnt do it sooner!

Baffy · 04/10/2007 14:10

hi cc

I know what you mean. I did smile on my whole journey into work this morning (the whole hour and 40 mins!) thinking I won't have to do that ever again!

Baffy · 04/10/2007 14:11

pc - love the idea of popping down there for the day to help with the bra! wish I lived closer!

DastardlyDior · 04/10/2007 14:13

Oh - all positive posts...BRILLIANT!

Baffy - enjoy your last day
PC - glad he has got the message
Tannee - get on Facebook!!!

Tanee58 · 04/10/2007 14:17

I am on Facebook - though I haven't put my face on yet (have to ask dd how to put photos on as I'm computer illiterate embarrassed middleaged mum emoticon. I am still a large question mark!

Fairly new to Facebook - so how would I find you all? Would be nice to add some friends who were NOT work colleagues from the local LibDem party (which I think is very sad )

DastardlyDior · 04/10/2007 14:20

There is a MN group which you can search for. If you then look on the thread of 'who is who' you will see my post of 'Dior' next to my picture. If you add me, I can tell you who all the others are.

Paddlechick666 · 04/10/2007 14:23

cc, that could be just the ticket!

will pop into Next this arvo too!

thanks

sugar34plum · 04/10/2007 14:25

DastardlyDior · 04/10/2007 14:25

Paddlechick666 · 04/10/2007 14:33

www.facebook.com

i can't access it from work tho

talking of which I really need to do some work!!!

sugar34plum · 04/10/2007 14:36

ok im on now what?

macdoodle · 04/10/2007 14:47

If you know someones real name search for them some of us are "friends" you should be able to see their friends and once you are their friend they can tell you whose who - just remember we are anonymous on here so careful with real names/identifiable stuff etc good luck!

macdoodle · 04/10/2007 14:48

Didn't know there was a MN group is it a big one dont really want to be easily identifiable ...gonna go look now

macdoodle · 04/10/2007 14:51

ooh no 500 members too many for me

Paddlechick666 · 04/10/2007 14:54

good news: buyer just agreed to instruct solicitor to exchange asap.

am almost a little disppointed as have just found some other properties that look quite good!!

more expensive tho but possibly just manageable but would lose money on survey etc.....
