On an aside, can I thank profusely whoever posted the booborbust website?! I've been wearing a 36D since having DD a year ago, and prior to pref. Was wearing a 34 C/D. I did the measurements last night and came up as a 32H!!! I've been on to town and am now two beautiful bras richer and £90 poorer, but it's worth it and a fabulous pair of knickers... (autocorrected to knockers that too!)

I wrote on the last thread that it doesn't matter if he likes you; he was rude when he turned and walked off after you suggested coffee (or whatever it was) and that should be the end of it.

I have changed my mind now. It all sounds lovely and comfortable and and kind happy. I hope it all works out.

And Mortal, please do not talk of you yourself as plain... Genuinely, you ARE beautiful to him! And when one’s in love, they have got a glow about them which IS beautiful. Even your work colleague have commented😍

Beauty is so much more than looks, it’s the air about the person, the way they move, their mannerisms, theirs facial expressions when they talk, the sound of their voice. Anyway, Rumpled has fully appreciated the way you looked in your dress and the way you looked without it 😂

Mortal, as I keep telling my daughters, everyone who loves you thinks you're beautiful. I could stare at the people I love forever in amazement at their beauty. And yet other people seem to be able to respond them all quite normally.

I did not have to google weebles because I’m an old fart. Hell, I even had some when I was little.

Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down!

I was once told that a sincerely-offered compliment should be treated like a gift.

All you have to do is accept it with a smile and a thank you. Most people feel a bit awkward when getting compliments, but if you're too self-deprecating it's like you're criticising the gift you've been given.

Accept the compliments and I bet plenty more will follow

I don't care how much you try to convince yourself it's just a friend thing, who the hell tells their friends they look beautiful under the snowy weeble circumstances? You might say it in a friendly way to someone who is all dressed up for an occasion, but otherwise no.

I read it as the compliment was made about the dress, when Mortal was explaining why she has down graded the wardrobe....either way.
