Hi

I've just met the most amazing man online. We have chatted for 3 weeks before finally arranging a date on Thursday night. As he walked into the bar I was dumbstruck at his beauty, he is 6'4, dark hair, incredibly handsome and his accent nearly made me faint.

As we sat and chatted, I could tell he felt the same way, we couldn't keep our eyes off each other and as he leaned in for a fist kiss I almost melted, it was perfect.

We ended the night with talk of how much chemistry we have and how into each other we are.

He messaged the next day and said he would find it very easy to fall in love with me.

I would love nothing more. My only issue is that although our age gap is not huge i can't help but think that he will want kids and as I'm 42 and have 2 kids I feel like I'm done.

Is this a conversation I should be having early in in the relationship with him so as not to waste his time or do I just let us both fall in love with each and cross that bridge when it comes?

I really have fallen for him, I can tell he feels the same

Hope your update is worth the wait Wink

Camnico · 29/04/2017 09:14

@donald I bet you're right! Maybe she met 'beauties' dad or brother and rode off into the sunset with them instead!

Popcorn at the ready.

FeckinCrutches · 29/04/2017 09:16

Engaged?

Hotpinkangel19 · 29/04/2017 09:20

Married? Pregnant?

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia · 29/04/2017 09:23

DoubleCarrick · 29/04/2017 09:24

i told my now dh. that the doctor told me that very day to ttc quickly if i wanted kids. so first date we had the 'when do you want kids' chat. I knew after that date that i'd marry him. Excuse the poor grammar, I'm stuck under 4 month old ds. ps.... dh turned out to be as amazing as i thought

justwait · 29/04/2017 09:24

Shamelessly placemarking

whomovedmychocolate · 29/04/2017 09:26

More importantly, do you actually know his middle name yet OP? Grin

Amazed you are planning a future with someone whose shoe size you don't yet know.

Camnico · 29/04/2017 09:27

You got a tattoo of his name on you and he dumped you

SuperFlyHigh · 29/04/2017 09:31

Update please! place marking

WishITookLifeSeriously · 29/04/2017 09:37

Me too SuperFlyHigh

justwait · 29/04/2017 09:54

He's asked you to marry him? But first he needs to transfer some money to his brother in Nigeria so he can come to the wedding? Could you lend him 3 grand?

lifesjoys · 29/04/2017 10:35

Guys, be nice!

I want that update.

Bitchycocktailwaitress · 29/04/2017 11:22

Placemarking.

I actually moved in with my husband within 7 days of our first date and we've been together 14 years.

Oysterbabe · 29/04/2017 11:46

I think it's ok to have this conversation early. My now DH and I discussed wanting marriage and kids on our first date. I didn't want to waste time with someone who wasn't on the same page.

fruityb · 29/04/2017 11:52

This has entertained the shit out of me this morning!

And did no one notice they had a "fist kiss" in the OP? This is the funniest and most ridiculous thing I ever read. I'm marrying the man I met online this year, and we hit it off so well to start. But if I'd mentioned kids, or I loved him after two dates he'd have run for the hills - as would I.

You don't know each other. You don't.

PoorYorick · 29/04/2017 12:06

He's a time traveller.

noego · 29/04/2017 12:11

OP will post when she gets to Gretna Green. Chill out everyone :)

DonaldStott · 29/04/2017 12:15

And did no one notice they had a "fist kiss" in the OP?

Yes. I could almost see cupid shooting his bow and arrow and thinking 'yep, I've done it again'

Paperdoll16 · 29/04/2017 12:16

Come on, my popcorn is almost empty..

PuckeredAhole · 29/04/2017 12:24

Don't give him money.

Vroomster · 29/04/2017 12:25

You're enjoying this aren't you OP.

LesisMiserable · 29/04/2017 12:30

don't give him money Grin this, with knobs on!

MrTCakes · 29/04/2017 12:51

Is he really 25 and turned out to be your son?

Ellisandra · 29/04/2017 13:09

I would say we should stop being mean - the first flush of attraction is lovely! - but OP deserves it fir the update attention seeking Grin
