Online Dating ... and this is a thread for while we are waiting! Dating thread 109

I know these threads have come in handy for many dipping their toes for the first time into OLD. So here we are again ... another 1000 posts down:

  1. The first rule about the dating thread is you don't talk about it with people you're dating.
  2. Develop a thick skin.
  3. Do not invest emotionally too soon.
  4. It's all BS until it actually happens.
  5. Trust your gut instinct.
  6. People vanishing, lying & being generally weird is not your fault.
  7. You are the prize-they should be trying to impress you.
  8. If it's not fun, stop.
  9. Loo update is mandatory.
10. No dating the thread. 11. Read Why Men Love Bitches (aka WMLB), and take from it what you will. 12. Don't serve up moose burgers on the first date (although this is still in debate right now) 13. Matthew Hussey also very useful. And very easy on the eye even if you don't find him any good. 14. IF THEY SAY THEY DON'T WANT A RELATIONSHIP, THEY DON'T WANT A RELATIONSHIP

Anyone on dates tonight, have fun!

I'm with you Pissssed, I love spoiling others, but don't feel so comfortable when it's the other way round.

Myusernameismyusername · 07/11/2016 17:56

I also love spoiling people but I have had a really hard time finding somewhere to go, in November in the rain that has space

It's a tricky time of the year to have a birthday November, January's just as bad. One to avoid if possible

Pisssssedofff · 07/11/2016 17:58

Will add that to the list, must be a Gemini for reasons of finances and venues for birthday date night ☺️

Mrsfluff · 07/11/2016 17:59

Mines December, so even worse!! Grin

Myusernameismyusername · 07/11/2016 17:59

Ahhh the place I booked I got a table! London is a nightmare for bookings but I'm very happy now (just checked emails).
We both adore beautiful buildings so I spent 4 hours looking Confused

Pisssssedofff · 07/11/2016 17:59

Summer birthdays are just the best, my kids were timed to perfection in that sense.

No let's not

I'm hoping my surprise is nice, I mean I am still on a budget so a very old pub will have to do haha

Pisssssedofff · 07/11/2016 18:19

Old pubs are lovely though, when I lived abroad that was the only thing I missed. A nice cold walk on a winters day ending in the pub by a real fire. Just as I left they bloody opened one in Perth grrrrr

Myusernameismyusername · 07/11/2016 18:25

It's gorgeous. Old and historic and grand and lovely. I wanted to go to a winter market on south bank but it's going to piss it down freezing rain

Daddy pig your going to be bitterly disappointed when your Pro turns up....

If the local ones to me (that go into my friends chemist every evening for there meth) is anything to go by they are certainly not young or hot! Try scabby flea bitten, toothless, riddled with disease and beaten black and blue

I guess as good in bed as a rancid fanny that's had 10 cocks up it by lunchtime could be .... Enjoy.

My friend was an escort at uni, she had us in stitches with some of her stories about the losers she had book her. The smelly ones, the ones who couldn't get it up, the ones who asked for their money back because they came before he got the condom on. She said she could hardly keep at straight face whilst she relieved the fools from their money 😂
