Giddy speaks sense, squeeze as hard as you need to! Sorry I've not been about, fecking wifi issues Angry Capes don't be so hard on yourself, you've had a hell of a time, it's completely normal to feel like a wrung out dishcloth at times! How are you feeling? Xxx

myfriendnigel · 05/10/2016 10:28

Winetoo early?
I'm thinking of you Capey... Do you know what? Life is too short to waste it innit? I feel philosophical this morning, can you tell?

You don't have to choose to be with someone who makes you unhappy. You can be happy on your own terms if you let yourself be. It's taken me all
This time to realise that I don't have to live with things that aren't good for me. And you don't either if you don't want. You don't need this twat bringing you down.he just isn't worth giving up your chance of happiness for.really.

Don't have much to add but I'm feeling exhausted at the moment too, so offering an empathetic hand hold Brew Flowers

I feel good today, had breakfast with 2 of the people I was out with st weekend so that was nice Smile then Ex had the afternoon off and picked the kids up from school so I've had a bit of an impromptu day off!
Oh and the baby slept again last night (!!!!) so feeling pretty fricking good all in all Grin

skyyequake · 05/10/2016 19:18

Yay! Glad you feel better Smile

I feel better too... Mainly thanks to chocolate digestives tho

NoCapes · 05/10/2016 19:23

Ah yeah I've had lots of cake and biscuits today too Grin

Today was actually the first day in a lonnnnggg time that I've actually felt hungry, and all I did was keep reaching for the biscuits, I need to start factoring myself into the meal plans again and hopefully start eating a few meals a day and hopefully get some meat back on my bones - I've completely lost my arse and it's annoying me Envy

OP posts:
skyyequake · 05/10/2016 19:30

Glad you've got your appetite back Smile

Well I'm sitting here in a size 10 t-shirt I never thought I'd wear again so Grin

NoCapes · 05/10/2016 19:32

The heartbreak diet works every time doesn't it Wink

OP posts:
skyyequake · 05/10/2016 19:35

Haha indeed it does!

Although I think part of it is that I just don't feel the need to eat huge portions like he does, and I make healthier food now sort of because I care what DD eats more than what I eat, but now I'm eating the same as she is!

So yeah some of it I due to periods of stress/lack of appetite, but some of it is a bit healthier so yay!!

NoCapes · 05/10/2016 19:47

Even better then!
See I've lost lots of weight but I'm definitely unhealthier, I don't want meals so just grab a biscuit or a packet of crisps, then when I do eat I want stodgy greasy crap
I need to take a leaf out of your book and get healthy again
You're doing so so well sky you've really turned yours and your DD's life around, I'm so proud of you Smile

skyyequake · 05/10/2016 19:52

I'm not all that healthy, I've eaten almost an entire pack of digestives today Grin

Best tip for being healthier is to eat with the kids because you'll be more motivated to make healthy stuff when its for them too!

GiddyOnZackHunt · 05/10/2016 22:45

Luffs you more Grin

LMGTFY · 06/10/2016 11:45

Just popping in to say you're doing great capes. Think baby is picking up on the stability and calmness since XP has gone hence the sleep?

PreemptiveSalvageEngineer · 06/10/2016 20:49

Well best of luck for another good night from baby capes then...

skyyequake · 07/10/2016 08:35

Hope baba slept well last night Capes

Thinking of you Flowers

tiredvommachine · 07/10/2016 17:28

Capes darling, are you ok?

NoCapes · 07/10/2016 18:26

Yes I've had another good day today, baby didn't sleep amazingly but instead of slobbing around in my trackies eating biscuits like I wanted to I dragged us into town and met my brother for lunch Smile
Also made plans with him for Sunday afternoon (to meet his new gf!!! This was the brother that's just got divorced so very exciting!) so I don't end up rattling round the house while Ex has the kids

Also!!!...

I've booked myself onto an eyebrow & eyelash course next month - Mama Capes is going to pay for it as a birthday present (my bday is this month) Grin
I'm sure I'll be a nervous bloody wreck and want to back out of it (don't worry Mama Capes won't let me!) but for now I'm excited Grin

...I realised today that it takes me a couple of days after seeing Ex for me to feel properly happy again, then it's only a day or two until I have to see him and feel shit again! So going to put the feelers out there about us doing third party handovers next time I see him - that won't be a fun conversation but I think it'll make a real difference to my mental health at this stage

OP posts:
ayeokthen · 07/10/2016 18:30

Sounds like you've made loads of positive steps today Capes my SIL did the eyebrow/eyelash course and she loved it! Makes a mint now too. If 3rd party handovers will help you he's just going to need to deal with it! I'm glad you're thinking forward, it's not easy. Mama Capes sounds awesome tho!

skyyequake · 07/10/2016 18:38

Wow! Glad you've had such a great day! So many positive things Smile

Definitely get third-party handovers if it helps. If he doesn't like it then tough! There's fuck all he can do about it!

So glad that you've got a course booked, that sounds awesome! Good luck Flowers when does it start btw?

NoCapes · 07/10/2016 19:51

Oh good aye hopefully I'll be loaded soon then Grin
Mama Capes is indeed awesome, she really is one of the good ones, I'm very lucky Smile

I know sky I feel really positive today, trying to keep thinking of all the things I can do now and keep myself moving forward
How was your day?

OP posts:
NoCapes · 07/10/2016 19:52

Oh it's November the ... 13th I think? Or 11th? I've written it down somewhere Blush
