lala we were shopping for wedding outfits too... I have just bought three dresses and have ordered another online (unlikely to keep any of them though!). I need opinions so will attach some pics later or tomorrow. Im dreading it too (looking forward to it in theory but it has the potential to go so very wrong!) It involves three nights away in a country where vodka features heavily (I'm shit with spirits), apparently there's a shot for every toast, and the party goes on for two days... oh and as well as friends there's going to be colleagues there as well....so much potential for carnage and I'm not sure if good intentions will cut it

Had a really nice afternoon/ evening though and a real, not faked, laugh with my friend. Tipsy from happy hour but it all feels very 'normal' and nice. But the harsh lights of shop changing rooms have unsettled me...I actually look quite ill, my skin is shit, I've lost weight but also definition and it's not a good look. Need to get back to the gym...

At least fully clothed you can hide thin but no definition but hiding rolls of fat and middle age spread is not so easy not that I know anything about that
I look at pics of myself 20 or 30 years ago and think why the feck did I think I looked fat / unattractive ....whatever.
I would kill to look like that now rather than the Mrs Doyle look I have going on at the minute.

Yeah I think a wrap...I probably need to show it to the bride as not sure how covered I need to be for the ceremony (church in Poland)...if I'm likely to become known as 'the one that got too drunk' I don't want to also be the one that really should of covered up

(Don't be too ....my weight control methods are not generally recommended ...it probably sounds like I'm gloating about it but I'm honestly not xxx)

No 3 is also good but you could end up flashing your knickers if you one sherry too many

No 2 is a good option...though although I won't flash my knickers in it I have to be very careful leaning foward Also have a very boring navy one I'll probably end up wearing as not brave enough for the bright colours but wanted to try something different!

(Also I'm not much over 5 foot so no 3 is not as short as it could be!)

Just read back through this and laughed my head off!!! You guys!

Need a laugh, as I have just been at the emergency vets with Lalapup as some fucking idiot my fucking mother left a box of chocolate fingers open on the sofa so she, naturally, helped herself. Alas being a dog, that means she could probably die, so off we went to the 24 hour vet where she had her stomach pumped, and was forced to throw up for about half an hour, my poor baby.

Super harrowing though, they literally booted her out, as a couple turned up with an elderly greyhound who couldn't even make it out of their car, had to be stretchered in... Vet was like, yeah pay us later, we have more important things to worry about now. Made me feel really sad, no way that dog was going to come out alive, and snuggled my little bugger a bit closer (and secretly wept for the £200 it will cost me).

Anyway, elba I love the yellow tropical one. If you have a shrug to put over it, that would look awesome. Off to a wedding in a couple of weeks too, will have to run my outfits past the babes...

lala pup gets an extra hug from me, bless her! (Though if she's like my childhood dog the worst part for her will of been not being allowed to 'recycle' her sick!)

Please please please will someone tell my brain it's night...had a lovely day by my standards but it's about time it's over!!! Bastard nights are to blame I think..but this is with only 3 hours daytime sleep I'm still hyper and agitated and drinking to dull it all, and it's not working. If I was sober and worked 9-5 it would be easier to gauge things, this isn't new for me after nights but still let me get the fuck to sleep!!!!
