I think my sons would have something to say about me taking their Dad back. Especially my eldest! I do have to keep some self respect!

I thought of this thread as I was driving home earlier and this came on the radio :

My ex went off with a woman 30 years younger than me "You didn't fight for me" he said after I dumped him when I found out . It really helped that he was such a twat as it made it easier to despise him and move on - even though it raised difficult questions for me about where I had hidden my twat radar for so long.

Have had a busy day - up at 5.00am and worked all day but am now comatose on the sofa with the . Monday will be my Sunday!

Hope the week starts with the usual small steps. Hush - I know that you're still devastated but wonder whether you're hitting that 'depression ' / hopeless' stage in loss - horrible and very wearing but - it is moving towards that latter acceptance stage. Don't mean to imply that grief / loss is a linear progression - it's not and we go backwards and forwards, sometimes over many years but, those tiny steps towards finding ourselves and creating a new life are happening. We're going on a bear hunt......

I have my Counsellor this morning.
I was up really early as my son had to get an early train.
He will be back on Friday.

I am still devastated and I know that I am not the only one. I am still waiting for the anger to click in but it hasn't happened yet, but I suppose we are all different?
I hope that one day I will find myself again and create a new life.
We are going on a bear hunt!🐻

I better take the dogs out in the rain!🌧🐶

I hope you managed a good nights sleep with the help of the Nytol?
I had a disturbed night and I had to be up early to get my son to the train station. I have to put the bread on the tray to prove and then get the dogs out before I go to see my Counsellor.

The vision of a lot of ladies all travelling down in a van to chase off the baddie made me laugh!

We all seem to be struggling a bit at the moment. It definitely is a case of two steps forward three steps back at the moment but it will get better for us all. Hopefully! Another saying I like (similar to the bear hunt one) is when you're going through hell - keep going. That's what I'm doing. Just plodding on.
Kirk I swear by Boots own sleeping tablets. I find them better than the ones the doctor prescribed me. When I had my first lot of tablets I expected them to knock me out until morning which they don't do - but they seem to calm my brain so I can drop off and then when I wake up in the night they seem to help me drop back off again. I try not to take them too much now but it's reassuring to know I've got some in the house if I need them.
Hush I hope your appointment with your counsellor goes well and you feel a bit more positive afterwards. I've got an appointment with mine next week.
I had a lovely day out with my friend and a few others yesterday. Drank far too much! I've got today off - thank goodness.
The weather is meant to improve later in the week. I think a bit of sunshine makes everything seem a bit brighter.

Oh no confession time girls , he contacted me by text and I was doing so well 8 days in saying hope you had a good holiday , so yes I flipped fired off X 3 text about his la k of interest in his kidults and his debt etc etc😡😡😡😡😡 all angry in tone ( it must of been brewing up inside my body 😂) he sent back that's why I block you, same old boring stuff you send ! I text back you hate the truth grow up you narcissistic prick , btw he won't know what that is 😂 I had to confess no more texting since 11am but I had to tell you all 😢 I am bloody weak again , I need to get back on the sea with no wifi ⛴

Oh well Kirk! The anger has to come out somehow!

Sorry Kirk, that actually made me laugh! Sorry. They're like bloody toddlers, aren't they? Keep prodding and pushing those buttons for attention. What on earth did he expect? Never mind, you gave him what for. He deserves a lot more, I think you were actually quite restrained. Don't worry about it.
I made my friend laugh when I was replying to a text from the twunt, saying out loud what I was really thinking but writing the nicest possible message back. Stupid bastards the lot of them.
On that note I better toddle off.....

I was woken this morning by my old dog crying. When I went in the hall there was a large selection of wee and poo all over my hall. It is not like him at all. I am so glad that I have tiled floors downstairs. I have cleared it all up now. I do not want that too often!

Maybe you shouldn't hold back Pisco with your dh and message him what you actually felt?

I have a problem with the skin under my bottom lip again. It is so itchy!
I think I will have to take some anti histamine!

Have you got your car back tartan? If you do I hope it wasn't too expensive?
My car is back after its service.
