Hi Hush,

Yes I had a lovely time in the Lakes thanks very much.

You'll have to let me know what the Jason Bourne film is like, as I'm thinking about going to see it.

Glad you like your new patio set. Xx

ThankGodItsThursday · 27/07/2016 22:01

Hello all.
My friend has just left. She came round tonight with her Grandson again. He's growing so fast. She tries to have him overnight once a week to give her daughter a break.
Hush you have been busy in the garden. I went outside earlier with the dog and my lawn needs mowing again. It's not even been a week yet.
I've bought a small BBQ and now the weather has changed. Typical. We have a large gas one but I don't like having to connect the gas bottle etc so I've bought a cheapie one from Argos.
My daughter and I have started watching all of the X Men movies from the start and are enjoying those.
WTAFF I have never been to the Lake District - where did you go? Would you recommend it?
I'm having my hair done on Saturday - I'm a bit nervous. I always go with such high hopes and most times come away feeling a bit disappointed.
I've got another appointment with my counsellor next week. This will be my third. I'm definitely feeling a lot better - not happy as such but better. If that makes sense. The hardest thing for me to get over is the utter sense of betrayal I feel that someone you've spent so long with and trusted with your life and your happiness can do this to you and then move on as though they never knew you. But on a day to day basis I'm not actually missing him that much.
Hope you are all well?
Off to bed soon so goodnight.

Hi WTAFF,

I am glad you had a lovely time in the Lakes.

i will let you know what the Jason Bourne film is like.

My son is watching Alien. I am trying not to look as I didn't like it when I saw it over 30 years ago. I might get behind the sofa in a minute!

Good night xx

Hello ThankGod,

I am glad that your friend came again. Nice that she cares for her grandson to give her daughter a break.

I do not remember the grass being cut so often in previous years. My front lawn looks a bit of a mess. I have a large patch that looks bleached!

We have a small bbq and a large gas one too. The small one is a lot less hassle! I hope the weather improves so you can use your new BBQ.

I am glad that you are enjoying the X Men movies with your daughter.

I went to the Lakes over 30 years ago and I thought it was beautiful. I went to Windermere, Ambleside, Kendal and Grasmere.

I hope you like your hair after you have it done on Saturday.

I hope your next trip to the counsellor goes well. I am glad that you are feeling a lot better. I do know what you mean by feeling better but not happy!
The betrayal is a terrible feeling. I still turn everything over in my head. I do not think that overthinking it helps at all!
I still try and think what I could have done differently!
I have it in my brain that as soon as he is a free man he will go to her and they will get married. That will be so awful for me!

I better go behind the sofa as it is another scary bit of the Alien film!

Good night xx

Hi Thankgod - we go to somewhere called Pooley Bridge on Ullswater. It's quite a small place but very pretty.

Very busy in summer though.

I'm pleased you're coping well. Smile xx

louisatwo · 28/07/2016 08:49

Good morning Hush and all.
Hope that you're out from behind that sofa Hush?
I do love the Lakes - so beautiful. Used to send many holidays there in the 70s.
Hush - you know you couldn't have done anything different at all re your ex? Sadly you married a cheating and lying prat - it's not you that needed to change, it's him!
I am just getting ready for a week of sorting and decorating - DD is moving out (with the dog Sad ) so I am going to transform the house. 3 rooms to decorate! I feel a bit apprehensive at what I'm taking on but am determined to end up with a freshly painted and organised house. If I can't manage it I may have to pay someone to finish it but if I can do it I will be very pleased - as will my bank balance!
Have a good day xx

Hushabyemountain98 · 28/07/2016 15:04

Good morning louisa and all.
I managed to get out from behind the sofa!
I really thought I was going to dream about aliens!
I didn't I dreamt of my DH and that woman!
I think you are probably right louisa but sometimes it just occupies your brain. Especially as I have been here several times before.

The Lakes are beautiful especially if you manage to go out of season.

I hope you will manage to do the sorting and decorating. I think it is amazing what we can do when we put our minds to it. Will you mind being on your own? Good luck with it all. I am still trying to take the advice of Marie Kondo!

I have been to see Jason Bourne with my son this morning. WTAFF I enjoyed it. I didn't think it was as good as the first 3 but never the less I thought it was well worth seeing.

I better close for now and get some housework done. It is good that I cut back the bushes yesterday as it is raining now. Still the grass could do with it!

Have a good day.
xx

I might check it out then. I do like Matt Damon.

I'm watching Coach Trip. I love this programme!

Hushabyemountain98 · 29/07/2016 08:13

Good morning WTAFF.
I really like Matt Damon.
I didn't see The Bourne Legacy as Matt Damon was not Bourne.

I really like Coach Trip too.

I hope you have a good day xx

Good morning all.
I hope that you are having a good Saturday?
The weather is a little dull here. Hoping the sun will come out later.
Not a lot planned for today only the usual. Dog walking, washing, ironing, bread making and hopefully some tidying up.

Have a good one xx

Hello. It's a lovely day here in the north east. I've just walked the dog and she is getting her hair cut this morning.

Have a good day. Xx

PiscoSour66 · 30/07/2016 11:41

Hello All. Sorry I've been AWOL. Hope you are all well.
It's a reasonable day here, with some nice warm spells when the sun comes out. Not much planned here, just some jobs outside.
We might start watching the Bourne films later as I have it on good authority that there are no rude bits to make my kids squirm!
And Matt Damon will be a bit of a treat for me!
Have a good day everyone. X

Hushabyemountain98 · 30/07/2016 14:20

Hello WTAFF.
Glad you have lovely weather in the north east, still waiting here!
It is warm just dull!

I hope your dog likes her hair cut?

I have been trying to sort my spare room a little. I have thrown stuff out. Put clothes in the back of my car to go to the charity shop/bin. Also some things are in the garage for the next time I can face going to the tip.

I hope you have a good day xx

Hello Pisco. Welcome back!

I hope your weather stays good.
I hope you get your jobs done outside.

The Bourne Identity may have a little bedroom stuff in but not a lot.
Great films! I hope you`enjoy!

Have a good day xx

WTAFF · 31/07/2016 08:56

Morning all.

The dog loves her haircut. She is strutting around like Kate Moss.

Hush, how are you doing? Are you feeling any more able to coape at the moment?

Xx

Hushabyemountain98 · 31/07/2016 09:58

Morning all,

I am glad that your dog loves her haircut WTAFF and that she is strutting her stuff!

I am doing okay! I still have some dark moments. I think it is better as I have company now. If I sit and dwell on it, it feels so unjust and unfair!
Everyone tries to tell me that life will be good again. It is all the uncertainty of what is going to happen about the house etc. Also I still have to make the decision about my poor old dog. It all just scares me! Sometimes I feel that I am going under for the third time!

On that happy note I will close as I need to get sorted and take the dogs out.
It is sunny outside today. I hope it is where you are too?
Have a good day xx

PiscoSour66 · 31/07/2016 12:10

Good afternoon everyone. I hope you are all well.
It's cloudy here, but I can still wear shorts without getting goosebumps on my legs!
You're doing well Hush. Small steps and all that.
WTAFF, I have funny visions of your dog doing a catwalk! You need to put a bow on her to complete the look! Do you still have the PT?
How's the decorating going Louisa. I really enjoy the painting part but the preparation work is just so dull. How's your garden? The slugs have been very busy in mine. There was a huge one last night, it looked like a mini version of the Loch Ness Monster! It must have grown to that size after feasting on all my sunflowers. Ate over 60 small plants!
Have a good day everyone x

ThankGodItsThursday · 31/07/2016 16:05

Hello all.
We've done quite a bit of gardening again today. This time concentrating on the front. The full bin stopped us doing anymore. Hopefully we will get it finished by next weekend.
Had my hair cut yesterday - I quite like it and my daughter said it's nice. Hairdresser said it was a lovely colour. I stopped dying it last Feb (2015). So now it's all natural. Sort of blonde/grey.
We couldn't get the BBQ to stay alight so ended up cooking the beefburgers in the house. Oh well. If was our first ever time of trying.
We are going to watch another X Men movie later. I like the Bourne movies - we have watched them all except the newest one.
I did a bit of sorting inside yesterday. Just moved some of his DVD's out of the living room and put them away in a cupboard and put all of my cook books out on to the bookshelf.
It's been 13 weeks today - that's a quarter of the year! I'm going out on Thursday with my friend. This isn't only the first time I've been out since he left but will be the first time I've gone out without him in years!
Enjoy your Sunday evening everyone.

WTAFF · 31/07/2016 19:47

Hi Pisco. Great to hear from you. I'm taking a bit of a break from the PT until September to see if I can keep it up on my own. We shall see!

Hushabyemountain98 · 31/07/2016 21:41

Good evening Pisco.
I hope you enjoyed your time in the garden.
I am glad that you think I am doing well!
Another Sunday is nearly over and we start a new week.
Take care xx

Hello ThankGod.
I am glad that you got quite a bit of gardening done today.
Hope you get it finished next weekend.
I am glad that you like your hair and that it has your daughters and hairdressers approval.
I hope you have more success with the BBQ next time. You will get the hang of it!

I hope you enjoyed the X men movie. I watched Skyfall again tonight.

Good that you moved some of his DVD's and made room for your own things.
I did some sorting yesterday. Today I walked the dogs, bathed one, did the washing and ironing. Just general housework really. Made the bread and cooked the dinner.

I hope you have a good evening out with your friend on Thursday. I am sure you will.

I better go to sleep as it is past midnight. Good night xx

Hello Hush.

How are you? Have you been to your counselling session today?

I've been for a three hour walk. The dog is absolutely exhausted!

Hushabyemountain98 · 03/08/2016 17:32

Hello WTAFF.
I have started this message three or four times and still haven't managed to post! Sorry!
I am okay thank you. My counselling session was fine.

My brother has been staying. Last night I cooked dinner for him and both my sons. It was really nice. He left a little while ago as he is staying with some friends. Then he is going to a music festival locally.

I hope you and your dog have recovered from your mammoth walk?
I better go and get the dinner cooked xx
