What moi Pisco!
Just trying to help.
Kirk asked for a kick up the backside!
How are you? Did you get out at all or did the tech win again!
The kiddies dance show was good. The dance teachers certainly had to have plenty of patience! All the little kiddies all looked lovely. Great costumes. The little girl next door was a little star but I am biased!
I was fine while I was out but felt low when I came home. Still I suppose that is the way it is. I have to man or woman up!!
Have a nice evening xx

You are welcome Kirk. Glad you have changed your thought process.
Sorry your dd is poorly. Good of your ds to take tea to them. I know how hard the journey is Kirk and we will wobble but hopefully we will get back on track again.
Keep your chin up xxFlowers

Hello Hush. What are you up to this evening? I'm watching some old episodes of Call the Midwife. It's a good programme.

Smile
Hushabyemountain98 · 17/04/2016 20:30

Hello WTAFF.
I am watching The Durrells at the moment.
I really like Call the Midwife.
I hope you have had a good weekend?
xx

OP posts:
WTAFF · 17/04/2016 20:42

I've had an ok weekend thanks Hush. I just feel like I'm stuck in a bit of a rut all the time and I keep playing awful things over and over in my head and making myself feel ill.

Is the Durrells any good?

Hushabyemountain98 · 17/04/2016 20:55

Glad your weekend has been okay WTAFF. Sorry that you feel you are stuck in a bit of a rut. Not good if you are playing awful things over and over in your head and making yourself feel ill. Can you talk to family or a friend about this?

The Durrells is quite good. An easy watch.

Take care xx

Good night everyone x

Hushabyemountain98 · 18/04/2016 04:13

Good night Pisco. My neighbour has been here with me since before 9pm. We have had a lot to drink. She has just gone home xx

I hope the head isn't too bad this morning, hush my lovely. Smile
Sometimes it's good to get it all out, and vent and rant, and tell someone how you are really feeling. This " Stiff upper lip" malarkey just internalises the pain and distress and makes you ill.

Your neighbour sounds a good support, is that the same one you went for dinner with at their house? RL friends and MN friends will get you through this, I promise you, xx

Hushabyemountain98 · 18/04/2016 12:39

Good Afternoon Hobbit,
I have just come back from seeing the cousellor and she was very nice and I felt comfortable with her. I am going again next Monday.
I felt a bit worse for wear this morning! Not sure whether that was because of the drink or how late or early I went to bed!
It was good to talk. Yes it is the same neighbour that I had dinner with last weekend. She is a good friend.
I am hoping I will get through this with the help of my RL and MN friends.
How are you? Did you enjoy the cinema with your sons?
Well I better go and do some housework!
Take care xx

Fantastic that you have found a new counsellor who makes you feel relaxed enough to open up to her and talk you through some coping mechanisms.

Tbh, I was a bit of a "nay sayer" about this type of thing before this bombshell landed in my lap, but it did help me a great deal, and she was fantastic help when I was stressed out about the mediation sessions with my ex. She even gave a me a list of pointers to say and guidelines to follow. I hope this will be a kickstart to you feeling much more empowered and less depressed. Please don't look on FB and those other social media sites, it will only cause you pain.

We did enjoy the film very much, we went to see The Jungle Book, which has a great resonance in our family, I loved it as a child and so did my sons, and this new version was really good.

Love and strength, Hobbit, xx

Hushabyemountain98 · 18/04/2016 16:07

Thanks Hobbit,
It helped me last time. So hopefully it will this time.
I was sceptical before I went last time but I was proved wrong!
I am glad that it helped you a great deal. It sounds as though you had a good one.
I am trying to stop looking at social media as it only causes me a lot of upset!

Glad that the new version of The Jungle Book was good and that you and your sons enjoyed it. Sometimes remakes are a disappointment especially when the original meant so much.

Not having any alcohol tonight as still feel a bit off!

Thanks again Hobbit.
Take care xx

Good morning. Beautiful warm sunny day here too. Having a cuppa outside.
Workout done, ruined by extra butter on my toast! X

Hushabyemountain98 · 19/04/2016 11:35

Good morning Pisco. Glad you have a warm sunny day too.
Well done for doing your workout.
You probably have worked the butter off!
I have walked the dogs. Put the bread and washing on.
Trying to tidy up! Need to gather some enthusiasm.
Feeling a bit down. Will these feelings ever end?
Have a nice day xx

PiscoSour66 · 19/04/2016 11:45

Hush, do some light gardening, pottering outside type stuff. Make the most of the sunshine whilst it's out. Get some warmth on those bones. Unfortunately I have to go to my class this afternoon, otherwise that's what I'd be doing. At least I can have a little snooze there. Wink

Hushabyemountain98 · 19/04/2016 12:00

Thanks Pisco. I may take your advice.
Need to take advantage of the sun.
I think I need some vitamin D! I hope your class goes well or if not enjoy your snooze!
I think we are Billy no mates at the moment!
Everyone must be busy or have gone to help someone else!
Have a good day xx

OP posts:
PiscoSour66 · 19/04/2016 12:05

We can have just as much fun! But yes, you need the vitamin D. Get out there and give the weeds some trouble. Xxx

Hushabyemountain98 · 19/04/2016 12:14

Yes we will Pisco.
I have just sorted the bread and now I am going to clean the utility room and then I will go into the garden xx

Im here Husha, Smile Ive had two days of seeing various Drs about my boy and its been all go. I also had mum and granny duties with the others. Im shattered but its a good shattered even though Im just about stretched to the limit with my boy and to put it in context - if I was a piece of knicker elastic I'd be hobbling along the road with my knickers just above my knees. Grin Ive also been trying to get all of my spring cleaning and house maintenance done before I go on holiday at the end of the month. Its been stalemate here house wise for 7 months now and my usual spring cleaning and maintenance didn't get done during the good weather and its a race to get it down before the summer which is just around the corner.

I really enjoyed my time at the sewing group the other day. I was on 'ironing in folds', and cutting strips of stitched fabric into specific lengths, but that table was a disorganised rabble so I gave up and went over for a nosey at my daughters table. She's in charge of getting the bags produced and her table was tranquil till I got there all sweaty and riled up from the other table so she said sit down ma, Im going to get you to sew these straight seems. She knew I wouldn't be able to talk and slow the others down if my tongue was hanging out to help me concentrate! Blush Anyway I only managed 5 bags that didnt have to be unpicked whilst all around me the other women were just buzzing through them. Each side of the bag was about 10 inches long and I was going to close to the edge and when you turned them in the right way you could see the overlocking that had been done earlier. Im going to practice though and Ive sent away for a wee light you can attach to your machine if your half blind like me and need a really good light even for reading. The cakes were good though and so was the tea.

Im on the couch now waiting for wine o'clock, and when its wine o'clock Im going to open a new book as well as a new bottle of wine. The book is The Four Streets by Nadine Dorrie. Has anyone read it?

Hushabyemountain98 · 19/04/2016 13:53

Hi notonyur,
It sounds as though you have been really busy.
I hope you got the outcome you wanted from your son's Doctors?.
I think you really need your holiday. Not long to go now!
It sounds as though you needed plenty of patience for the sewing group. Glad you enjoyed it though. Good that you had tea and cakes to keep you going.
I hope that wine o'clock arrives for you soon, so you can have your wine and start your new book. I haven't read that book. I hope you enjoy it.
I have cleaned the utility room. Looks like I am going to have to do painting in there as when I rub the wall clean because of my dirty dogs it wipes the paint away!
Hoping to go in the garden shortly to tidy up a bit. Still waiting for my delivery only three days now! Ridiculous!
Enjoy your wine xx
