Waving Mr2015 is the guy I was seeing last year Grin

Long, complicated and very painful story but the upshot is that a relationship looks unlikely so we're trying to be friends. I still have feelings for him though and get very excited if he ever "likes" anything I do on social media Grin

Did Soho reply to your message?

I heard back from Mears He's up for a chat later...

how do I do that waving? Will he know I've done it?
Funnily enough, I think B has done that to me, he sent me a BIG long, long message at midnight last night and another at 3 am and then turned off his online status. (I think that's what he's done, I can no longer see if he's on line or not). No idea why he'd do that.
I've another message from MrCanceller (from way back). I haven't read it yet, I can just see from my email that there's a message for me from him, so I won't read it until tomorrow. I might know where I am tomorrow! I was telling a colleague at work that OnlyIron never texts and he said ''maybe he's got no credit'' which struck me as hilarious. He drives an Audi A6. I'm going to ask him later if he's no credit on his iphone 6

JollyXmasJumper · 04/02/2016 14:42

Hello all!

Well actually while I was pondering what to answer, Popcorn sent a second text asking other innocuous questions, so I believe he was not expecting me holding off my reply. I ended up replying late last night saying I have been busy, with traveling among other things (soooo mysterious...not). Now waiting again for an answer which I guess is going to happen tonight. I am definitely back in the game.

Tanya I am keeping that underwear info for later, that iron needs to be poking the fire a bit more before. . Sorry you are feeling low today, will be sending positive vibes your way!

Scarf, totally ok to be dating the thread haha, we have all been there!

Waving, lol at you ending up to wear a drop-dead dress at school haha, I would have done totally the same!

Folk yes Birdman needs to get to work, otherwise you will end up delivering the moose burger. Mears does sound like he deserves your attention! And, yes, do add yoga - but be prepared for dodgy requests, haha

314 lol at "no credit"! I think he just does not message. How about telling him to call instead? Maybe that is more his style? But try to put it not as a request but as something he could do to make you happy? (Remember the bitch does not nag, she expects standards to be met)

Handy if IT is too keen and you feel pressured maybe wait till you get back?

Gast yay on the new date schedule! Well done!

I am off to do some yoga to keep a cool head. For those interested, check out "yoga with Adrienne" on YouTube, she has a lot of home practice routines that are really cool and easy!

No I don't want a ONS with London but I'm kind of resigned to it. I guess I believe if someone is going to sleep with you then disappear they're going to do it whether they've hunted the moose or got moose burgers delivered. He's coming down from London to Brighton which does seem like a long way for a booty call. And he's constantly telling me he doesn't just want a ONS so we'll see. He's just so hot though that I get all of a fluster just thinking about him Blush (I'm 41 fgs!). And I'd really like a shag with someone I really, really fancy for a change rather than just someone who'll do.

On another subject, oh the shame...DS2 was playing with my phone and managed to call Booty from the other night. I hung up immediately but he called back. Slightly awkward moment.

And this was too ridiculous to be believed, do you remember crazy 'I'm the new guy' from Bognor? I had a text message the other day asking 'have you blocked me on Whatsapp' didn't recognise the number, so asked who it was; anyway it was him and then he asked if I'd done him a video yet, I asked what he meant and he said 'you were going to do me a video of you wanking and send it to me then I was going to send you one'...I said 'nope definitely not me'...

THEN he asked who I was and when I told him he started trying to chat me up again. Hmm Oddly enough I didn't reply.

So I downloaded Tinder.

Was initially appalled by the perverts and disgusting messages and was on the verge of deletion.

Started getting some nice messages from normal guys and I appear to have date early next week. Woah. He seems really nice and in the same profession as me.

WhoWants314 · 04/02/2016 18:40

Waving, well done for playing it cool! And if I wore a short dress in to work, I can imagine the comments, so you're brave! I'd be told ''oh we all thought you had wooden legs'' and worse.
So, you feel calmer for having turned off the notifications, hmmm. I've been thinking much less about B recently in that way, and I wonder why NOW he's turned off his. Like he's winding me down. I won't be offended. not much Can he turn them off just for ME, or would he have to do that for everybody?

What does the tinder icon look like on a phone? can you describe it to me?!

WhoWants314 · 04/02/2016 18:43

That's good sothathappened ! And I gather with tinder the people live near to you? or as near as you search?

SoThatHappened · 04/02/2016 18:56

Near enough. London is a big place.

MyGastIsFlabbered · 04/02/2016 20:24

Quick update London has added me on FB, positive sign?

Blimey, Gast, he's moving fast isn't he?

MyGastIsFlabbered · 04/02/2016 20:47

I asked him actually, I thought I might get more of an idea about him (married or something!) but it seems all above board.

Hi everyone, need a bit of advice.

So MrTooFar came up with the idea of an alternative place to go for date of a country walk, which is an improvement on last suggestion of an hours drive for me which I said was too far, this time it's 'only' 30 mins drive for me.....but zero drive for him, Hmm I've asked for name of place we'll be walking (so I can check it's suitably public and not some deep dark woodland) he said 'a lovely place near me' and wants me to meet at his first 'for coffee' before we head out. This is all very weird don't you think? He's not asked anything about me, like job, kids etc. Otherwise seems quite polite and well mannered. Shall I just block or give an excuse to cancel? My gut is screaming 'NO!'

Prizey, it does indeed sound weird. I think you should cancel.

JollyXmasJumper · 04/02/2016 22:16

Yes Prizey this is odd. Maybe try turning that country walk date into an early evening drinks one? Day dates are best kept for later I think or maybe I just need alcohol and dim lights

RedMapleLeaf · 04/02/2016 22:19

I guess I believe if someone is going to sleep with you then disappear they're going to do it whether they've hunted the moose or got moose burgers delivered.

I disagree with this gast and I find it really sad (not as in pathetic) that you "resigned" is the word you chose to describe how you feel about sleeping with him.

Prizey cancel, and tell him why.

PrizeyPrize · 04/02/2016 22:20

Thanks laugh & Scarf, will cancel tomorrow. Glad you agree and I'm not just being paranoid....all very odd for a first date.
Anyone on dates tonight?
