May I ask a question?

Hello. I am a gentleman of 33, single for just a touch under a year. If you do not object I would be very happy if you could answer a question from a female perspective. I am weighing up whether to ask a woman out for a coffee. She works in a place I go to to socialise. We've exchanged pleasantries and nothing more, although I suspect she has noticed I am frequenting her establishment with increasing regularity. So, the question. If you were asked out by a man whom you were not interested in getting to know further (just looking at the worst case scenario) in an unthreatening manner and environment, is there any harm done to you as the person receiving the invite? In other words would I be putting the other person unintentional ly in a difficult position should they for whatever reason need to decline, or as I perhaps naively hope, would what I hope is a warm feeling of being flattered still be there if you don't fancy the person who asked you out . Apologies for a mealy-mouthed post but really Id love to hear what you think.

Hi could I please ask if anyone can give me some advice on family law? Tia x

timeisnotaline · 30/08/2017 21:28

Im Christian. Should I have been eating Christian bacon? Do I have to take back all my rude comments about religions that restrict what you eat? Confused

Lovedlost · 02/09/2017 19:02

Thanks.
On that note, should I give my hamster lard?

shabbychic123 · 19/09/2017 16:46

Hi I'm trying to get pregnant, I'm 3 days from AF and I've taken 2 dip in type ovulation tests (cheapies) and they have come up positive. So I then used the Clear blue expensive to see and confirm and it had a smiley face. Is this just a mixed reading being so near to my periods of ovulating ? Very new to Ovulation testing xx

bowtieandheels · 20/09/2017 23:02

We are planning to relocate from Milan to London next year (2019/2020) and wondered what the key differences are between Heathside prep and St. Christopher’s. Our daughter’s is currently attending a British school and is bilingual. She’ll be approaching year 3 on our move. Any thoughts welcome! Thank-you

Hi, I was wondering if there are any single mums in here who have taken the step to relocate. I am in a failing relationship with the father of my 19 month old, I was sacked from my job 6 months agon and I am so badly wanting to move away to better myself, be able to find my own home and let my little boy grow up out of city life. I am soo worried that I am making a bad choice by ending this relationship and taking my son 4 hours from his dad, I don't want to hurt anyone but every day I am becoming more and more depressed with life and the only thing keeing me smile is my beautiful little boy.. Can anyone share experiences? Thank you! X

iona21x · 04/09/2018 15:20

ApproachingATunnel · 04/09/2018 17:13

Like someone already mentioned, very casual ‘perhaps you’d fancy a coffee sometime’ is the way forward. Or say you you are goin to see a movie/show/theatre - does she like that sort of genre and if so perhaps she’d like to join you.

ApproachingATunnel · 04/09/2018 17:14

I’ve always wondered could DH fight a kangaroo and win? Now we are in Australia AIBU to ask him to try, to satisfy my unending questioning?

This thread kills me Grin

Anyone ever heard from op again! I too was expecting an update. From his manners in the posts I am appalled that he didn't have the common decency to come back and let us know if it was a shag, marry or avoid situation...

We shall never know. I'm going to be positive and think he's married and happy with a little leprechaun on the way.

if I have any random questions I just ask my electronic friend Alexa, when she's not ignoring me.

topsy2tails · 09/09/2018 04:33

Alexa grey rocking you? CF! You do realise there's probably an ow! Get your ducks in a row. Is the house in your name? You may also need a SHL.
You're worth better hun.

topsy2tails · 09/09/2018 04:34
