Man and woman cuddling, holding hands, general touching and kissing on the cheek. They are both married.

You know what - why does it matter whether it was considered cheating or not?

The bottom line is that you did something you know would hurt your partner, and you don't intend to tell him. You know your behaviour was inappropriate or you wouldn't even be questioning it. Drinking is no excuse - if people can't control themselves after a few, then maybe they should reconsider consuming alchohol or know their limit before they start acting stupid Hmm. This is a no brainer. And how bad it is, is determined by the person you hurt. Only your spouse can decide whether whatever you've done is forgiveable or not. Some (as expressed in this thread) would get over it and move on in the relationship, others might not.

Learn from the mistake and don't let it happen again.

There's no point in telling him something that will only hurt him when I am drawing a line under it and not be doing it again. If I told DH he wouldn't leave me but it would upset him and I don't want to do that. At the time with OM I got carried away with my attraction for him, which I now regret.
