10 or more. He works from home and mostly welcomes the childrens interuptions (every 20 seconds or so), he does all the practical care without thinking about it, he adores the pregnant shape (GOOD MAN!), sieves my poo out of the bath when water-births are in progress, makes me laugh, doesn't bug me about spending too much time on MN, pays the cleaners, rugs up MY ponies when I'm tired, does back and foot massage, is my best friend. I'll stop now, married 6 years and still feeling this good

koshka, big hugs to you. your dp is going to miss out on so much. some men aren't cut out for fatherhood. some are brilliant. hope you find the latter

As a partner, 9/10. As a dad, 6/10 which is quite a sharp rise due to more time spent together recently - I'm just trying to leave them to it as much as possible, I'm selfless like that . As a joint homemaker, sorry mate but 'I'll do all the cooking from now on' sounds terrific but where's the beef? Literally?

10/10 as a Dad
9/10 as a partner (no big, important reasons but no one is perfect...except me of course )
